Nonsense. Once a woman has decided she likes something, a man either keeps his mouth shut or sleeps on the couch. She will say OK, and not buy the dress and then bring it up every argument for the next 20 years.

Does this make me look fat? Which one of these (three virtually identical items) do you like best? What's wrong with this one? These mirrors are bad. Hold my purse. I've got the perfect dress, now all I need is a belt, new shoes. a blouse. a bra. I found this great belt but it doesn't quite match the dress, I think I'll pick out a new dress.

Six hours later on the way home from the ordeal: I think I'll return everything and start over...

The only thing that would make the Eurosnots stop looking down their crooked snouts at Americans, was if the Americans suddenly found St. Petersberg and Beijing far more exciting as a tourist destination than Paris, London, or Berlin.

I tried to start a thread last night as a clearinghouse for FReepers to compile instances of suspicious and possible terrorist activities. JimRob doesn't want that on FR.

Anyone have an idea on an alternative, or am I an idiot? Does my being an idiot mean it's a Bad Idea at it's core?

The level of incompetence in Federal Law Enforcement is so high that it is ludicrous to think moles are needed to screw things up. If there are moles, they will still be looking for them ten years from now. They have never found a mole or traitor any faster than that.

I am inclined to agree with you. In fact, it seems to me to be a bit of a stretch to think anybody in the FBI would have the sophistication needed to put the pieces together well enough to make a mess of things in an organized way..

I speak from PERSONAL experience on this one. That's an actual literal SIX HOURS, by the clock.

No it wasn't Margaret, she can pick out decent looking clothes, and be outta there in half an hour with a closet full of attractive bargans. All the more remarkable because she has a disproportionately long torso, and most off-the-rack clothes don't fit...
