Uh-oh. Rsuh just said that CNN is reporting as Breaking News that a body has been found in a park and the police think it may be Chandra Levy.

Oh wise one .. I was watching the 2nd airing of Gretta last night and the former director of the CIA mentioned that someone leaked a memo of how they or the FBI were picking cell phone conversations of Bin Ladin and once that memo was leaked to the media the cell phone communications stop

I want to know who in the hell is the mole in DC that is helping Bin Laden

Yep, there has to be one and if they ever positively determine who it is, I hope they fry him/her for treason.

More news saturation about Chandra... I hope it brings up more questions about just what Condit was up to, and how it affected the security of the house intelligence committee. As the Demwits in Congress want to investigate intelligence failures, let them look at their own membership first.

Obviously, the press knows how the White House feels about this, First daughter ducking public eye while shadowing mom in Europe. So, why run this story ? I'm eespecially disgusted with this part....
".... decreed at the outset of this trip that Jenna was traveling as a private citizen -- albeit also on U.S. government expense -- and was off-limits to the news media."

I don't recall Sandra Sobieraj bringing that up when we were force fed glowing reports of that repulsive Chelsea for miserable years.

Kent lad in running for geography bee title
SEATTLE POST-INTELLIGENCER STAFF
A potential National Geographic Bee superstar might put the Puget Sound region on the map once again.
We'll find out this afternoon whether Erik Miller, a 14-year-old from Kent, will be our fourth Geo Bee winner in 10 years.
Back in 1992, Lawson Fite was the winningest kid on the National Geographic block. In 1997, the honor went to Kirkland's Alex Kerchner, who knew that "Asia's most densely populated country" with about 3 million people in less than 250 square miles was Singapore.
And just last year, Kyle Haddad-Fonda of Shoreline -- who was also a state champ in 1999 and 2000 -- brought home the goods.
Miller will compete against nine other bright young things in Washington, D.C. today.

Yes, he probably is. I saw a story yesterday that said homeschooled students are winning similar events all around the country. :)

The NERVE of these unAmerican ultraliberal union IDIOTS (and lawyers, no doubt) with nothing better to do than protest national security!!

Group to protest airline caterer's role in roundup
By CHRIS McGANN SEATTLE POST-INTELLIGENCER REPORTER
An airline catering company abused employees' rights when it helped federal agents conduct a national roundup of falsely documented airport workers last month, the King County Labor Council and dozens of other labor rights, religious and community groups asserted yesterday.
The coalition plans to protest Sky Chefs' actions this morning in the vacant lot across the street from the company's SeaTac kitchen. The complaint: Sky Chefs surpassed its legal obligation when it helped Immigration and Naturalization Service agents by holding a fake meeting for employees who were found to be using fraudulent Social Security numbers.
INS agents arrested 12 illegal immigrants. INS officials were uncertain yesterday whether those Mexican nationals were still in detention or had agreed to leave the country on their own.
The sting was part of Operation Tarmac, a nationwide initiative launched after the Sept. 11 attacks to ensure that anyone with access to secure areas of airports poses "no threat to the American people." Since then, hundreds of people -- including 37 in Seattle -- have been arrested on immigration violations, criminal fraud or misrepresentation charges.

ggrrrrrrrrrrr....... let's negotiate higher wages and more benefits for illegal immigrants. Workers of the World Unite!

(continued).... "It is preposterous to say this country is safer in the wake of these 12 arrests of food service workers," said Dana Wise, of the Hotel Employees and Restaurant Employees Union. "None of these workers, as far as I know, had any direct role in airline security. They are food preparers."
Wise said that national security is being used as a smoke screen to weaken union negotiations.
"These arrest happened in the context of nationwide negotiations between employees and Sky Chef about working conditions and benefits," Wise said. "Imagine the impact if some of your co-workers were hauled off by police."

Weird news just for you guys and all fans of BBQ

Electrocuted squirrels blamed for Red Mountain range fire
(AP) BENTON CITY -- A wildfire ignited by flaming squirrels that got zapped on a high-voltage line burned 638 acres of brush and grass on Red Mountain, fire officers said.
Some squirrels went up a pole and came in contact with the line Tuesday afternoon, possibly by gnawing through insulation, Benton County Fire District 1 Capt. Ron Fryer said.
The wind-driven flames briefly threatened about 30 homes, but they were protected by buffer areas that were established after a much larger fire on the nearby Hanford nuclear reservation almost two years ago.

Here is another example of Clintonesque, feel-good, PC think eroding the commonsense of seemingly normal folks.
Seniors lose graduation battle

Duh, "...the ceremonial reward of wearing a cap and gown that comes with graduation." Exactly. Now is not the time for these parents to become activist. The time for that was when their children were not making the grades required to graduate with their class. If you don't earn it you can't have it. Moreover, what kind of message would it send to those you did study, who earned that priviledge ? What is wrong with these people ?????
