Oh that is not fair .. yes there are some problems .. but alot of these agents put their lives on the line to protect this country .. I am not willing to just dump on them because the management sucks

As for the gangs .. when you have poor drug infested neighborhoods these thing tend to happen .. not sure how to fix that

And like I said .. if they attack us again .. I would not want to be an Arab or a Muslim in this country .. there are already many trigger happy folks who are itching for some justice .. I am thinking it will not be pretty

I am not saying there are not problems in the FBI, CIA, INS and a few other Government Departments and yes there needs to be a clean up but not ALL of these people are bad

Imagine a large Senatorial Chamber with a gazillion media photographers & journalists & CSPAN's cameras running.....all the committee members are there and of course many Senators preening and getting their jabs in and repeating this 'what did you know and when did you know it routine'....and then it is the turn for a Condaleezza Rice to talk.....and talk she does....as she provides LARGE charts showing the amount of $$$$ that has decreased year after year for intel and military purposes; charts showing how the NSC has been pulled away from doing their work as Congress demands more and more of their time and resources; charts showing how Congress has withheld $$$$ for budgetary increases for NSC sufficient to hire highly qualified intel officers.

And then, each of the intel agencies head gets up and recites their cutbacks and hampering laws.

And then have someone like Condaleezza or Colin Powell tell the committee they now knows what the Admin has uncovered about the real reason 911 happened.

Yes, Greg was a cop. He worked for a local agency. It's difficult to fire bad cops now because federal laws protect their employment rights.
Mo, federal agencies are too big and have usurped too much power with dismal results. They will not improve.... it is the nature of the bureaucracy beast that they will worsen as they grow and get more money and more info.

I believe this is the gist of what Dr. Keyes is saying.....answer these bums straight up and straightfowardly....take it to them....let them do the squirming.

Its just like the innuendos that Bush knew they were gonna do the suicide crap on 911. This may sound weird, but I was offended that the President of the United States, regardless of who he/she is, feels compelled to have to say publicly they had no knowledge.

Why, in this case, weren't the front people out there with the stony stares right into the eyes of these bastard questioners saying something like, "we wouldn't even hint that the former President, for all his warts and wrinkles, would stoop to such a vile, horrible act--what makes you think this President would be worse than the former President"?

It can't be due to the GOP thinking the Dems will think bad of them.....fer cryin out loud, the Dems have no problem daily standing in the well of the House and calling them 'mean-spirited, starvers of children, toss 'em into the street villains against seniors, hooligans for homelessness' etc. So let the Dems add the words, 'mean talkers'---b-i-g frigging deal!!

After I'm done working my shift (around 11:30 pm), I usually stop at the nearest convenience store to get a sandwich, pop and cigarettes. At least 1-2 times a week, young men of Middle Eastern descent are there.

God forgive me, but often I wonder, do these guys have dynamite strapped on under their Tommy Helfingzer (sp?) oversize shirts?

It's ok .. you are frustrated just like we all are and pissed off that we can't do a lot more to prevent these types of attacks

I wish I had answers .. I wish I knew what to do and I wish that the attacks won't happen again but I know the will so in the mean time .. I prepare myself .. and yes arm myself and say a whole lot of prayers ..

I also thank God everyday Bush is President because then I have hope we can get through this and fix what needs to be fix and protect ourselves in the proper way .. now only if I could have that same kind of faith in Congress ..

In all of my life I've never met a friendly Arab in America. I've met friendly people from India, people who loved freedom and America - but I've never met an Arab who would associate as a real friend with Americans. Sometimes they go after lonely American girls to marry them to stay in the country, but that's not the same thing as being friendly.
