Mornin' Swerve, I was at the lakes by my house really early this morning and saw plenty of ducks and they're adorable little families. We're having glorious... bright, sunny, no humidity. Too beautiful to be inside. :)

I'm jealous. It's cold and windy, and I have a sinus infection, so I'm holed up inside with a cup of tea. Where's that global warming I keep hearing about?

I should have warned you that I'm cranky this morning. My face hurts and I have a fever. whine, sniffle. We sure don't have any of that global warming here. It's not raining at the moment, but we had lots of heavy rain the past couple of days, and the Sierra got a lot of snow.

This could turn into one of those "my weather's worse than yours" dealies.
Actually, my weather is worse than yours...I have to chain up my little Toyota pickup truck just to get to my office. The wind is howling now and the temp is about 26 with wind chills in the who knows?

Dontchajustloveit....
The tar and feathers seem to be missing
"Dick Cheney is warning the Democrats not to move forward with an investigation of the intelligence failures, such as they were, and with his usual avuncular firmness. But there's more than a little suspicion that he's working from the playbook by Uncle Remus. "Please, Mr. Fox, don't throw me in the briar patch." Such an investigation, led by the usual windbags, could be just what the White House ordered to put this little storm over the Potomac out of its misery."

Wow. Well, cheer up. We had miserable weather from Friday until yesterday. Damp, overcast and record low temps. I had to turn the heat back on for two nights in a row. Ordinarily by this time in May wee're hovering around the low 90's with rising humidity. This weather is a God send. and we're loving it. :)

I don't doubt your weather is worse than ours. We did have tornados just east and north of here (Woodland, Dixon and Sacramento), it's been cold, windy and rainy. This is sunny California, for heaven's sake! I should be driving around in my convertable with the top down, begging for skin cancer!
watch out, i'm snapping and growling at anyone who approaches

Right Darlin'
It's only a matter of time before we find out our former loveable Boy President is up to ears in this, another big scandal. I suspect our memorable former president wishes his demo. flunkies would shut the heck up.

It's supposed to start warming up tomoroww. I'll go sit in the sun (with spf30 on my face) and see if the heat doesn't help dry out my sinuses. There is nothing like a sinus infection to make me crankier than a grizzly bear.

Hi Mo,
Actually not to weird down where I am...up at 14,000 feet in the Andes. The jet stream is veeery close here.

Wouldn't do to try to take a dip here either! I've been told that men's voices change to soprano when they take a dip in the rivers!!! LOL....

The main Salmon, around the end of July is pretty warm...not real soprano inducing. A great time to float from Shoup Bridge to North Fork with just a couple of beers.

Once I went out to visit friends in Colorado .. it was nice and warm .. was wearing shorts and then we took a drive up the mountain and there was a snow storm .. LOL it totally blew my mind ... plus it was brrrrrrrrrrrrr cold
