Chaple Hill is still o.k., its Durham that is the armpit of the Research Triangle Park area.

They spend fortunes trying to fix up downtown Waco, but despite the fountains park and the bridge park and one renovated old factory (private) the downtown is a dive with more boarded up buildings than open businesses.

We've struggled with downtown renovations here for years and it has only been moderately successful. The next phase is about to start..
Nashville has done one of the best and most successful facelifts of a downtown and warehouse districts that I've seen. Its thriving.

It is calld National Commercial Financial and the own several banking companies here in the south east. The office is located just outside of town away from the blight, so I assume the parking is safe.. and I don't drive an Acura.
