I've been trying to print out some photos. I got a good one of the stink bug

I just wanted to type "stink bug".. Do they live up to thier name?

My printer quit printing black last week.. I tried everything and then deleted the software and printer off the computer and downloaded a new driver off thier website... works fine now.

Loddy called it a stink bug, and swerve called it a blister bug. It's an big ol' ugly thing and I didn't disturb it.

Please consider finding a mobile vet - it has saved both our and the creatures' sanity. Plus, the vet is a really nice lady.

Your Yummie sounds like my daughter's Zoe. When I was in Phoenix, we took her to the vet for her boosters & a diet....she had peed in the carrier....the Vet's assistant took her in the back and did a quick 1/2 bath and some sort of drying arrangment.....Zoe is long-haired and she was nearly dry when they came back.

I think Swerve's correct - StinkBugs have broader bodies. Beautiful pic and good thinking on the printer prob.

Back to bizzareness.

My High School sweetheart is leaving Montana because she can't get a job that pays enough to cover her disabled husband's medical expenses. The State thoughtfully want to recover their "contribution" from any spouse.

She's moving back to California.

To San Jose.

Here.

Yoda goes for car rides with me a lot. He follows me around outside (unless he's on the roof) and gets in the car if he wants to and rides around in the seat. I had another cat in Washington who would go for rides, too. I started taking it in the car when he was a kittens and one of the kids would hold him, then set it down on a seat, and he just got used to it.

It's an assassin bug, one of the true bugs. Stink bugs tend to have bright colors to warn predators, and are flatter and more shield like. Vessicant beetles are longer and more cylinerical, and also have bright colors.

Is it a dangerous bug? I was taking pictures of wildflowers and just happened to see it. It moved very slowly and I had no desire to touch it or make it mad at me.

VERY dangerous, if you are another insect. It was trying to sneek up on it's next meal.

This was taken around 11 am yesterday. It was sunny a couple of hours earlier when I took the bug pictures, then this storm front moved in and it got very dark.

Just wondering if you knew which obscure hockey team just won game 1 from the Colorado Avalanche....

Did you catch the name on that red jersey?

Are they from Atlanta?

Or Portland....
