North of Calama...that's quite a ways north of where I hang out, plus, the quake was 125 km deep...that's a pretty deep one and they tend to do less damage. The ones that get us, are the ones that are centered right on the coast and are only about 30 km deep...they cause the big damage.

Last night I caught a few minutes of a program about altitude sickness and effects on one of the discovery channels where they showed a very fit man lose almost all of his strength and thinking abilities on a mountaintop. I thought of you. *L*

LOL...I blame all of my bad decisions on the altitude...actually, I'm certain the effects of altitude are why we have so many accidents. I think we have had something like 14 fatalities in the past 6-years up here.

LOL! After working with cattle for so many years, I'm certain they are incapable of boredom...now horses...they get bored very easily.

We have hundreds of people working on these projects...right now I've got about 200 working for me, including the dirt contractor. We probably have close to 350 people on site...down from about 500 earlier in the field season.

The liberal lame press is at it again. It is a meaningless "charge," totally biased. Clinton knew of the danger of Osama's terrorists in the cockpit way back when EgyptAir flight 990 was crashed in 1999. I have yet to see a major front page headline about that - which was OBVIOUS to me at the time, and should be obvious to everyone now, but the press has conveniently forgotten about it.
