I'm still laughing over the gentlemen who tried to take his own life.

I had read that one twice .. lol

Actually it was kind of what I sounded like around the election mess and every time Gore would speak

A golfer stands over his tee shot for what seems an eternity to his partner. He looks up, looks down, measures the distance and figures the wind direction and speed. The longer he takes, the more his partner fidgets. Finally his exasperated partner says, "What's taking so long? Hit the blasted ball." The guy answers,

"My wife is up there watching me from the clubhouse. I want to make this a perfect shot."

A husband and wife were disagreeing with each other and the silent treatment was under way! The silence continued, when a week later the husband needed to get up at 5am to catch a business flight. His alarm clock wasn't working, and he grudgingly realized that he needed his wife to wake him up. Not wanting to be the first to break the silence, he wrote down on a piece of paper, "Please wake me up at 5 tommorow morning so I can catch my flight," and put it on her pillow before she came to bed. The next morning he awoke to find that it was 9am, his heard his wife in the kitchen, and he had missed his flight. He noticed a note on his pillow, "It's 5am... Wake up!"

Gawd, I did, too! To be desperate enough to want to take your own life....and then to screw it up so bad! When you consider the story says he used a mirror and it was around 5 o'clock.....well, I can conjure up all sorts of pictures in my mind of how this fella attempted what he did--matter of fact, was he trying to take his life OR get rid of the good eye?

Oh it is still on .. the one chick wants to spray the carpet orange .. and there is a fight over it .. LOL

I once lived in a rented house that had orange shag carpets (YUK!) with white blotches and streaks all over it. I was only there a couple of months. Anyway, I found out that one of the owner's kids had accidentally spilled bleach on a spot and couldn't clean it out (of course) so they decided to spill bleach all over the rug in random spots to make it look like some kind of pattern rather than an accident. *LOL* It was awful! They couldn't just buy an ottoman and cover up the original spill?

Well.....that's how I took it.....and even watching himself, he botched it! Reckon one shouldn't laugh, but good grief!!

And how did you take the 5 o'clock.....he shot himself about 5 in the afternoon......OR...holding the mirror, he positioned the pistol's barrel to a 5 o'clock position to in relation to where it was at his temple?
