There really are demons.I'm not joking when I refer to Hillary as "the demon possed one". That's why mere peons are not allowed to make eye contact with her...

Hi Nully. Did you take the kids back?
To: Rowdee
Wonder if he's just running off at the mouth to make you feel bad...or it is for real....Both, I think. That post isn't aimed at me. He did react pretty strongly to your statement about relatives of suicides, and you should see his last post to me on that thread...

Hiya Everyone,
Ozzie and the lads have gone off to hunt the yellow metal and my nephew and his wife have gone off to visit some friends and will be back at dinner time. My nephes has been helping me install the Norton programs and some spyware but he is not finished. Gosh, you computer gurus go so fast when doing this stuff cuz you are familiar but us slow learners need more time to get questions asked etc. But I have to say it easier now that I am no longer a "never ever" computer person as I was before I got this toy and am now pretty much self taught...
Have not read your posts yet but I know..just know you have all been up to lots of fun....
Nully, did you sprain your tongue trying to get to the bottom of the jelly jar since you couldn't use your fingers? *L*
Mo, has the VI been leaving you alone?
Darlin, Wings and Ringy..you with the Judge sippin mint julips today?
To: celtic gal
Hi CG. Hope you get your computer all set up and in fine shape quickly. Nothing worse than having to deal with them when they don't do right.

I was interested in your leaving your computer on all the time. I am on cable so when I am not on it, I shut down. Why? because I have a firewall that lets me know when the ports are being probed. My norton won't let it in but last week I got hit with a virus..not sure where it came from though the origination was France. So I figure that by shuting down it give the bad guys that much less chance of getting in at all. My nephew the computer specialist is here this weekend and I'll ask him his opinion. Maybe it doesn't matter except for all the juice it used. Remember last summer during our energy crisis when we were all told to shut down when not on the puter working/playing...so I'll ask and let you know...

SHARKS! GO SHARKSuntil they have to play the Red Wings....
To: celtic gal
Are those ne'erdowell pilots around here again?
To: Prentice
Hi Prentice. How you be today?
To: celtic gal
I'll be interested to hear what your nephew has to say about leaving the computer on. As I said, my nephew recommends leaving it on. I have a firewall, and my Norton antivirus is set for active protection. Also, when I not on the internet, I log off so I'm not actively connected. I hope that's enough! I do turn my monitor off to save a little power. I haven't noticed a huge increase in my electric bill since I started leaving the puter on.

Just fine...cept it just started raining and tonight would have been a beautiful time to wander around a park somewhere.
Red Wings just won their series...am awaiting the winner of the Sharks/Avalanche series. I hope it's the Sharks so I can hassle Nully for being party to a team who jumps out of a shark's mouth at the beginning of the game...silicone Valley is soooo tacky sometimes.
How's the great ex-slick state tonight?
To: Prentice
That's Silicon Valley, buddy...

Hi Shootist - for what it's worth, I leave my machine running and just pull the power plug to the modem overnight. I like to watch all the blinking lights as it synchs up in the morning.
But, then again, I'm very easily amused. ;-)

Hehehehe....
You rose to the bait my friend....
But you have to admit that jumping out of the shark's mouth has some affinity with silicone.
Both are disturbingly fake....
:-)

Nice DNA info...
Very scientific
:-)

"How's the great ex-slick state tonight?" Most of the state is really beautiful but I don't think there's enough fumigant in the world to purge the Little Rock area of his stench. Especialy with the ongoing fiasco regarding the lie-brary trailer building. And it DOES look like a trailer.
