What is your definition of strip searching? To me, it certainly isn't dumping my purse or luggage. The word 'strip' connocts the disrobing, at worst, or the hand-fondling under clothing.....I daresay an 80 year old would know if someone stuck something either in the crevices of their bodies or under their clothing.
Surely everyone agrees what happened on 911 was a planned event......there seems to be a question as to who did it. I maintain it wasn't done by elderly whitehairs who can scarcely walk let along jump members of flight crews threatening to kill them.
And I have to wonder just how many vicious, murdering fanatics answer truthfully when asked if they had anyone watch their luggage, or if anyone gave them something to carry for them....that's really complicated and complex actions for security?

Here is a little quote from our Pipe Bomber .. Oh and I REALLY recommend reading the letter he sentAlcohol is a motor skill impairment; marijuana is a mental stimulation, yet the impairing agent is legal?! Is this yet another governmental agenda utilized as a tool for order? Alcohol directly kills thousands per year; marijuana directly kills zero people per year. Wake up people! You're here for such a short time, why have regrets? I'm taking very drastic measures in attempt to provide this information to you. You people have failed long enough... can we now grow?
I will die/change in the end for this, but that's ok, hahaha paradise awaits! I'm dismissing a few individuals from reality, to change all of you for the better, surely you can understand my logic.

Do you believe everything you hear on TV or read on the internet ?
How many flights have you taken before or since 9-11 ?
How many airports have you set foot in over the past year ? the past five years ?
Have you ever seen a passenger of ANY age singled out for a
strip search ?
Let me assure you, the percentage of 80 year old arthritic travelers being
strip searched is conveniently and greatly exaggerated. There aren't that many 80 year old air travelers in the country, much less being
strip searched.
Granted, some of the "security" questions at the first check point seem absurd and laughable but perhaps your answers aren't as important as your reaction or your body language. Perhaps you're being observed by an "eye in the sky" or the person standing in the adjacent line. Air travel is safer now than it was before 9-11 and it will improve. I submit the inconvenience is infinately more desirable than being blown out of the sky. If it is too much trouble for some passengers then they need to consider going by car or better yet staying at home. Airport security isn't perfect but then few things are except the criticism of experts.

Somebody mentioned mirrors yesterday......this came in my mail today.
The Mirror
After living in the remote wilderness of Kentucky all his life, an old codger decided it was time to visit the big city.
In one of the stores he picks up a mirror and looks in it. Not knowing what it was, he remarked, "How about that! Here's a picture of my daddy."
He bought the 'picture', but on the way home he remembered his wife, Lizzy, didn't like his father. So he hung it in the barn, and every morning before leaving for the fields, he would go there and look at it.
Lizzy began to get suspicious of these many trips to the barn.
One day after her husband left, she searched the barn and found the mirror. As she looked into the glass, she remarked, "So that's the ugly bitch he's runnin' around with."

Sorry, Darlin' your questions don't address the issue I raised, that is 'strip searching'. How long ago was it John Dingle, the House Representative was 'selected' for special treatment? I know my Dad has had to lift his trouser legs, though it is easy as anything to feel the metal braces. The matter of a strip search may be in your mind 'greatly and conveniently exaggerated'....I presume it is safe to say you are not one of the 80 years so searched, right? One should be improper.
It is amusing as people attempt to twist and contort to justify actions of government.
I will submit that air travel will be 100% safe--once everyone is forced to leave everything at home and fly bare-assed naked!
Alternative methods of travel are fine with me....but watch, trains, buses and private vehicles will be next.

92* in the shade and no chance of rain until Friday afternoon, if at all. I'm keeping the sprinklers going for hours at the time. We could use a little of the rainfall y'all normallly have. :)
