LOL, sweet....I was telling my daughter about your Nermal and his catnip and she laughed.
We took her Zoe to the vet for her checkup and shots while I was there....the vet informed Deni that Zoe had gained 2 more pounds....at 3 she weighs 16 lbs, so it is serious diet time. According to Deni, Zoe does not exercise or play and from my observations, Deni is telling the truth.
So, with expensive diet food in hand, home we go to introduce Zoe to it. I gotta tell you, Zoe is NOT impressed...at all. She sat by her dish and waited for Shasta to finish eating whatever he was eating and then she moved over to his dish!!!
We tried to get her to play...that lasts for approximately 2 seconds. To Zoe, exercise is getting up and walking to the food dish and back.
For some reason, Deni got down her container of catnip, which she said neither cat had cared for before. What a hoot!!! Zoe got more exercise playing with that fuzzy catnip soaked little ball than she has for 6 months worth of trips to the food dish!!! She was soooooooooo funny. Even tried to wiggle through a little hole in their scratching post/condo/jungle jim contraption!!! Deni just sat there with her mouth agape watching the antics.....

Well, some good homegrown catnip may inspire her. You just never know. Sometimes it actually makes them giddy and active. Nermal it just makes lazier and gives him the munchies.

Hi Prentice. One son called and needed a ride, then my Navy son called, then I showered (it's 101 degrees according to the heat index today) then my parents called.
I have to wait until next week to go shopping.

It is just eating the democrats alive that the Bush White House knows how to keep it's mouth shut and that known blabbermouths are not being "informed" about what's really going on.
