It's VERY SLOW... takes forever to go from thread to thread or post something.

Apparently the ghost has moved upstairs now. I was informed this morning that it is a female and is talking to the upstairs roommate. I guess it knows not to mess with me...I'd go straight for the priest and holy water! Hehehe

Indeed, I do remember it, my heart was in my throat for about 2 weeks. It was the first time we saw how the President reacts under serious international pressure. He had been in office less than 3 months and no one had a clue as to how he would perform. What we learned and what the world should have learned is that you don't play poker with this man. He runs a no-leak White House, he keeps his hand close to his chest, he is decisive, courageous, strong and he always has the best interest of America foremost in his plan.

Yes, three potentially explosive international incidents starting with the EP-3 then 5 months later WTC, 6 months after that Israel and he has handled them all with his own innate grace and decorum. Now he's gearing up for Iraq. An incredible 15 months of unbelievable focus and relentless scrutiny. He does make it seem so easy but in his short time in office he has done no less than comforted a stunned and heartbroken nation, restored American patriotism and pride in our military, reassured the world that America is once again in the responsible hands of a principled leader. Crushing pressure to be sure but he has handled it with the honor and dignity that he promised he would restore to the Oval Office. Not bad a bad showing for a misunderestimated, bumbling, preppy cowboy. Is it any wonder the dems are chasing their tails ?

The mayor of Bethlehem (Moslem) has been on TV countless times reassuring the world that the clerics and nuns inside the Church of the Nativity are there voluntarily and not as hostages.

A 67-year-old priest, emerging from Bethlehem's Church of the Nativity, told Israeli officers that Palestinian gunmen inside had "no respect" for even for the head of the monastery.
"They stole his diamond-ornamented cross," he claimed.
The priest, Narcis Karouzian, described how the monks inside the church painted a sign that read, "Please help," and posted it in the monastery courtyard - so it could be seen by an Israeli reconnaissance balloon - before Karouzian carried the sign through a side gate to freedom.
"We wanted to alert the Israelis that something was going to happen," he said. "I couldn't stay there any more. But there are some 30 priests and nuns inside the compound who decided to stay to prevent more damage."

The thing that find so amusing is how the very same same people who call Dubya a dull-witted, poorly spoken puppet of the oil companies don't see a conflicting issue when they claim he knew about the 9/11 attacks in advance and is somehow the mastermind of some great conspiracy to exalt the big corporations and bring down social security and destroy the poor. Morons!

The stalemate goes on, and the Israelis think they know why: They've intercepted messages from Yasser Arafat telling the gunmen in Bethlehem to stick it out.

Hey Swerve, "Sex on the Beach" is one of those God-awful drinks designed to free any trace of a nasty old inhibition that might surface on Spring Break. It has vodka, peach schnapps, Chambord, pineapple juice, orange juice and cranberry juice. If I had to guess I'd say a Sex on the Beach" candle would be a combination of those fruit aromas.

BRAVO ... it is still early in his Presidency to say whether or not Bush will be even better then our beloved President Ronald Reagan ... but boy is he off to a great start ..

Now I must head off to the store to replace the sand that the village idiot put EVERYWHERE but in the sand box .. BBL

I think even I have heard of the "Sex on the Beach" drink - though I it wasn't served in the little logging town roadhouse where I worked for a few months as a waitress, but ended up working as a barmaid most of the time because I was over 21, so I quit.

FOFLOL. I have 6 nieces and nephews. :)
One of my nephews tried to convince my sister it would educational for him to get a summer job as a bartender at a local college hangout. LOL. He was not amused that we were all so amused by that nor with his father who tried to recall how old he'd been when he tried a similar argument on his mother. LOL
