Take the time to say "I'm sorry," "Please forgive me," "Thank you," or It's OK."

And if tomorrow never comes, you'll have no regrets about today.

Re: Andy Cuomo-he is a real son of a gun, isn't he? I read somewhere else that Clinton is still pissed at him for the way he behaved when he was in his Cabinet (always hogging the limelight and never praising Clinton) and that now he is working behind the scenes to make sure his opponent wins the primary.

Re: Designing Women - Well, duh, we on the Guild have been discussing what a great show that was for months and months. Where has Cindy Adams been that she just figured it out?

Bill Clinton's tireless spokeswoman, Julia Payne, told her boss yesterday that she's hanging it up. Payne, a longtime aide to Clinton and ex-Vice President Al Gore, plans to leave Clinton's staff Aug. 1 and return to Washington, where she'll probably jump back into politics. The former Orioles fan tells The News' Ken Bazinet that she will remain true to the Yankees, "the greatest baseball team in the world" ?

So why isn't the press jumping all over Payne like they are with Karen Hughes? Oh, that's because when Democrats leave it's normal, when Republicans do it, it's nefarious.

I hope Doro does not read the Guild because I would not want to hurt her feelings but, well, she just does not look like a Bush to me. I mean, I don't think there is a Web Hubbell in the woodpile or anything like that, just that she got different genes than her brothers. I am sure she is a wonderful sister, daughter, wife and mother though, bless her heart.
