Hi Val....yes....lots of fun.....took a walk over by the lake this morning--gorgeous day.....then off to see if we could find where I lived 33 years ago!!!
We found it....but I had a tour of downtown Phoenix....new sports arena, new theatre, performing arts theatre;, the courthouse where she works, also the Sandra Day O'Connor fedreal court house, watched a Diamondbacks baseball game last night....
Had a Jamba Juice thingamajig today....great tasting fruit drink--she said its sort of like a fruit smoothie--only better.....I have no idea, other than it was super good tasting...virtually -0- calores (which was really nice), did a little more shopping (which is terrible)--was lucky enough to find out something she needs--so I was able to get her a 'perfect' birthday present--birthday is Tuesday.
AND, we have talked, talked, talked, talked.....Deni is my very best friend in the whole world.
Really haven't thought much about politics....or news....miss my Freeople friends though. :)

Phoenix blows my mind--there was only something like 750,000 people in the whole dang area when I lived here...now there are millions.....where my daughter lives used to be 'country desert'.....now it is malls, apartments, expensive homes, condos, freeways, fitness centers, lakes......
And Sky Harbor Airport---when I lived here, passengers walked out on the tarmac to the airplance and climbed the stairs up to the plane....the terminal was about the size of a large closet!!! Well--a little bigger--they had a restaurant/bar--but it was tiny--a lot smaller than what is currently in Missoula, MT!
