Last night they didn't think he'd make it but he is looking better this morning ... but still in very serious condition

Good plan to stick to the Bible and away from the occult.Yup, before the Christians decided to stay on the straight and narrow, they had labyriths on the floors of Cathedrals. "It belongs in the same category of perverted religion as self-flagellation." Well that might be taking it a bit to the extreme. There have traditionally been many tools used by the church meant to help the devout to focus their attention on prayer. It could be compared to reciting the rosary or periods of fasting and silence. It is not that there is anything wrong with using the tools if they in fact are helpful to attain that end. The problem is when the means to an end becomes the end in itself.
