I think I've been playing "The Sims" game for too long - about a month now. My first reaction when seeing the floor plan was "What would The Sims do?"

On a Scale of 1 to 10, 1 being no possibility at all, and 10 meaning absolute metaphysical certitude, the correct answer is

10

Hubby turned the AC on here last night - but the system needs a charge, so we wasted a lot of electricity for no cooling at all.

Actually, without a working fluid (the refrigerant), your compressor isn't compressing anything. The only energy you wasted was running the fan and cycling the (unloaded) compressor - pittance in comparison to the amount of power normally required.

Is it my imagination or are a lot of things getting posted on the other side that really need to be posted in "General"?

Not to be flip Miss Rika, but who really cares. I mean Ithink the whole Nine different thread lines thing, was lame to begin with. Since they can't make any of the random thread posters comply, I think It's nice that there are just the few of us (WFTD, Guild etc....here most of the time.)
