Hey Loddy. Sounds like y'all will have a wonderful time. Too bad you don't have more time. It is a beautiful area and one with a lot of history. Anyway, if I don't see you before you go, have a safe and wonderful trip.

Hi, Mo,
What a day here! Gotta get the hubby on a hobby asap or I get little puter time. He has been doing less subteaching lately and my whole day gets screwed up with all the newspaper reading and coffee drinking and whatnot! At least I got him in the habit of coming to look for me if he wants me to see something. sheesh nothing like cleaning the toiley and having him call to show me something it the newspaper!!! Well tomorrow he is off to hunt for GOLD so I told him I would work on cleaning the garage..I lied...:) I' hope to play here at least for a little while.
anyway I have missed all the fun here. Now that stupid West Wing is on yuk. Finally got my puter room cleaned and now I can find the keyboard LOL! Gonna go wander around the thread a little bit.

Oh I remember those bugs from Beautiful Beaufort by the Sea, 26 miles from Yemasee!!! I used to put spray startch on em to sort of freeze em up and then used about a million tissues to send em down the toilet!!!! But these looked like little fellers compared to the ones I found in Okinawa!
To: celtic gal

We've had several huge scary thunderstorms here since we lived in Waco, but the power has never gone out during one. This morning, there is no weather but the power was out for a couple of minutes, knocking out all the stupid clocks and the computer - for no reason as far as we can tell.
To: ValerieUSA

The young woman who died after running the Boston Marathon had just "earned" her doctorate with a dissertation on coping with grief from cancer losses by running marathons.
To the end, Marathon was at center of student's life
I am in big trouble on the thread for noting that her dissertation was stupid, and her death proved it.
28-Year-Old Woman Dies Two Days After Collapsing While Running in the Boston Marathon
Perhaps by discrediting and stopping her "work" another already grief-stricken family will be spared the agony of being "counselled" to run a marathon. Her school in Boston has just been exposed as a fraud; their doctorates worthless to point of being dangerous. Her family should be refunded every dollar they spent on her "education," and every one of their graduates practicing in the mental health field (how many work for the government?) should be under review.
''At first, running a marathon sounds too demanding, if not absolutely impossible to accomplish,'' Lucero wrote in the introduction to her 100-page dissertation. ''But I believe this is not only a realistic goal to accomplish but also an excellent coping mechanism that helps runners and many cancer patients and their families.''
THIS is how a person earns a DOCTORATE at the Massachusetts School of Professional Psychology??
