That is the Christ of the Ozarks statue. It is the second largest statue of Christ in the world.

They have dinosaur attractions in Glen Rose TX, too - and dinosaur footprints in the riverbed stones.

" it's not an attractive work of art" Perhaps not, but it is quite something to see. Actually it was bigger but they had to remove His feet because if they didn't they would have had to light up His head for airplanes.
