Girllllllll, that was the bossiest woman I've ever seen. This is the FIRST time I've even turned my computer ON, since she showed up. Got on my last nerve, I tell you she did. :) I feel so free, I'm almost giddy. :)

OMG. That's a larger area than some islands.

It will be wider than most cruise ships are long. It will be too big to enter ports, but will anchor out and take owners back and forth in 200 foot high speed launches

I see no indication that Valerie is fearful

Neither did I, I just saw a button that was screaming to be mashed.

:-)

Don't ask me if I saw any indication that Val was being contrary.

Ratty and I contend that the eaters have taken over here just like they did in the Roman Republic and that it is time for the workers and creators to ship out in the new giant ships becomming available. Then the fools left here can colapse into disease and canibalism and in a few generations we can have it back

In the whole world, this is now the best place.... and you find it intolerable

Well said. If this wonderful land is not worth the time and effort to save it, then no place is and we may as well clock out.

Okay, I'm off the phone.

I don't think you will ever see the forest for all the trees.

There is no forest on the ocean - you are looking at the captain's cabin and not seeing the turbulent seas and iceburgs and rocks beneath the surface. Science fiction is interesting, but it's still fiction.

Let not do that. Lets just buy our own island and we can install our private docks for our own boats. Import what we want. I don't want to live stacked up floor upon floor. That's New York City

Not the point CP.

This country would be worth any sacrifice if we could save it, but we can't. It is too late. The eaters are in control and things won't get any better while they live.

This is the best place in the world, and it is deteriorating. The majority of the people like the deterioration and call it progress. The media and educational system, which form public opinion call it progress. We were too lazy and unconcerned in the early 60s and let the 'Great Society' legislation pass.

BE AFRAID! This is almost exactly what I was just telling my son on the phone. (He bores me with pick-up and car talk, I get back at him with Big Picture talk *LOL*)

How much of our present course is unintentional, lazy drifting on the currents? We are being swept away, but we have the engine power to change direction, without leaving land.

Neither do I. That is why I am retiring to my own boat. I am just gonna tag along for the handy shopping and medical facilities, and the parties.

What are they eating, and who are they? I don't understand. I've missed the boat. :) I'll go back and read, see if I can make sense of what we are talking about. :)

THAT would be the route I would prefer to take. Isn't the south pacific full of uninhabited islands??

Nonsense - we are made of stronger, surer, righter stuff than the commies of the Great Society were. Their remnants are afraid of us now. They are losing control, and they know it - which makes them our enemies in deed and purpose. They will betray us to China or Islam or the UN rather let Patriots have America again. You are singing the tune they are playing - I want to bring out the GONG and remove them from the stage.

They are anyone with money or skills. I will not be surprised to see Microsoft or other major light industrial companies move literally offshore with all their employees to escape a punitive government. They will have products to sell and trade to agricultural nations.
