lol - trust me, after we got our rental units, I take our accountant a pile of stuff, he calls me a few days later to come get his pile of stuff, Mrs. Lodwick and I sign our names that everything is correct, and then we send it off.

Who knows if any of it is correct or not? Our tax code is so fatally flawed that Money Magazine has a contest every year to expose its goofiness!

I believe that a 5% National Sales Tax would take care of all the revenue our government needs, to do what it really needs to be doing.

I would be a dunce trying to do someone elses taxes...ours can be done quickly and just using the 1040EZ form...we no longer have any dependants, we have no medical bills, our house is payed for, so we have no mortgage interest, our credit cards have little interest on them...we have nothing lively or interesting about our taxes...just our salary and interest on our savings...very boring, but very quick to do...

I am glad I got them done finally tho...otherwise the hubby might have a heart attack, he thinks if we dont file our tax papers on time, the IRS will come to our door, and cart him off...

Yes. At least the sun has come out (maybe briefly) in the last few minutes... sunlight on your face after a day of rainy gloom might brighten your perspective a little. But who's-it definately will have some explaining to do...

rofl I remember turning over to 30
my parents got involved in me standing on my own two feet
I think my mistake was buying into it too
I was involved in being independent
but when I moved to tucson, my friend put a for sale sign on her house
man drove up and said he'd like to buy it for his son
suddenly I felt so bereft
I felt all that my struggles to be independent had bought me was winding up feeling so daddy-less
after that I reversed course in my thinking

Well hopefully our Daddies will always be there when we need them. They like to help sometimes... we can't be too independent or they feel un-needed. So I ask for help choosing tires.

I still haven't gotten up to go take my bath. If who's-it comes back while I am in the tub... make sure you save the images... I want to capture the marital dispute for my album.

Just got some good shots of whomever shifting around... Will load them momentarily.

you are sensible to take accountant mountain of stuff, sign your name, not look at it, pay check
I don't think there should be a tax on income period
and I'm still burning that NY State is charging $60 for carton of cigs
government handed over $1 billion of our dough to Colombia to fight war on drugs
after few months Colombia said they sprayed a few fields, spent the money, and want more
our government needs to go on very strict budget and get value for its money
citizens need to keep their dough and get joy from it
look at the joy andysmom gets from her geraniums and dollies and gifts hubby gives her
gov gets no joy from our money at all

When Bell and Stewart get on camera maybe you will be able to tell them apart as the male falcon is smaller than the female. To be a better hunter...Falcon like to nest on cliff ledges. No cliffs in Seattle, so they pick a tall office buiding..The window ledges slope so eggs might roll off. The falcon people provide a box so they wont. If they don't put gravel in it the eggs could end in a puddle of water. Not good..So the nest might look like litter box, but there is a reason for it all. The pair have nested, what,7 years...so it all must work....

Palo, I did not learn how to drive until I was in my 30s...I always had my dad or my husband to do the driving, or friends if we were all going out for fun...and living in Chicago, there is so much public transportation, buses, trains, cabs, that one really does not need to drive...

But after I had my second baby, my husband thought it would be a good idea if I learned how to drive, for emergencies, and doc appointments, and such...so I was scared to learn to drive, because I was older...but I did not have my husband or dad teach me...I went to Sears and paid to have someone who did not know me, teach me to drive...and finally I did learn...

Of course, my son thinks I am a funny driver, and he thinks thats because I learned to drive when I was older...but they never had drivers ed, when I was in high school...When my son was in high school, it was required, so he learned at 15 how to drive...

And I am really glad that I did learn how to drive...because just 2 yrs after I learned to drive and got my license, we moved to the country side of North Carolina, where there was almost no public transportation, so having two young boys, I had to know how to drive...

So you can do it, we are all cheering for you...

I remember once, my dad was going to try to teach my mom how to drive...my brother and I watched as they went out to the garage, and the car pulled out, and mom was at the wheel...good grief, the car lurched, and sputtered, and bumped into the factory wall next to the garage...then the car doors flew open, dad made mom move over to the passenger side, dad got into the drivers side, and the car was pulled back into the garage...soon they both came back out of the garage, mom in tears, and dad huffing...they did not say a word, and me and my brother knew better than to ask what happened...that was the end of moms driving lessons...

Actually tho, looking back on it, I am kind of glad she never learned how to drive...she always had dad, and he was always willing to drive her where ever she wanted to go..he loved to drive...but we are glad she never learned to drive, because years later she got Alzheimers, and I have heard that many Alzheimers patients still try to drive, and sometimes they forget what they are doing while they are at the wheel, and cause accidents...so it all worked out for mom, in the end...
