Well, gosh wasnt that rain last night something else...it just poured and poured, and I never thought it would stop...yet this morning, is sunny, and I can actually see some blue sky....but knowing how weather around this area can be, who knows how long the nice weather will last...
Glad to hear that Lulu and Happy are Ok, tho poor Happy is missing his Bill...glad that Miss Lulu is taking care of him, being by his side and reassuring him...I bet Happy will go nuts when Bill comes home again...
And I bet Bill is having the time of his life doing his cave exploring...
Well, I better go now, and get to the store...see you all later...
I have started an album to keep some of the good Eagle Cam shots in, that you can check in on from time to time if you are interested... I am adding new ones as I see good poses to capture.
Here is the link to the live Eagle Cam again
Here is one of the shots... though I suspect it will not last long, because Webshots is that way... One is just settling in on the nest, and the mate is on a nearby branch.
I have downloaded your pics to have for my very own
Its going to be so exciting once the babies are hatched, and we get to watch the parents feeding them, and we get to see the babies progress and get to see them grow up and begin to fly...
This is also a great teaching tool for kids, if anyone still has little ones around...lets the kids view the eagles in the wild, being good moms and dads to their babies..
Windy as it is... I hope that nest of theirs is fastened down good. I worry about them up in that tree when it is blowing like this!
As, I said before, I dont care how much a dolly might cost, cheap or expensive, if I like it, I buy it...these just happened to be some cute little cheapy dollies to decorate my computer room with....
When the hubby was out yesterday, he was getting some repair done on one of the cars, and he had some time to kill, so he went shopping...He went to one of our favorite stores, which we call the bird store...they have all kinds of foods and such for wild birds and critters...but they also have so much more...bird houses, t shirts, Christmas ornaments, and lots of collectibles...we always enjoy going there, especially around Christmas....
They also have one of our favorite collectibles, called Harmony Kingdom, and one of their lines is different animals...I have several of their pieces and just love them
So the hubby stopped in yesterday to see what they had...and when he came home he was all excited...he had a special bag for me, with two Harmony Kingdom pieces in them...one was a piggy, sitting up on its haunches, and looking ever so cute...and the other one was a chubby basset...oh they are both so cute, and are sitting atop my computer right now...
That basset is called 'Nell' and so is just toooo cute...she is so detailed, ,and has her fat wrinkly stumpy paws, and the long silky ears, and the long snout, and even that characteristic point on the top of her head...and if you look real close, you will see she is hiding a little tiny mousie under her right ear...all you can see is the mouses little head sticking out...how cute
My hubby is a good guy...
But I am a pilot, so I know that it is also risky to land in this kind of wind, so I hope they are both careful out there today. And if he when hunting downwind today, he may be bucking quite a headwind getting home... We are having gusts to 40.
Last year, the hubby was all in a rush for us to go to Point Defiance Park, in Tacoma to visit the zoo...because he wanted to see the Komodo Dragon, which was on loan there...we went and saw that big monstrous lizard, he was very active while we were there and was crawling around and flicking his nasty big infectious tongue in and out...
The hubby loves all reptiles...so he bought a nice rubber Komodo Dragon for me at the zoo souvenir shop(Well, actually I think he bought it for himself)...but he has it placed on my computer monitor, overseeing the screen...Yucky guy, but I keep him there, because after all, the hubby likes to see him up there...
