Lulu is on top of bed
Happy is underneath it
they like bein' near each other
it's impossible to lounge on couch
dogs think it's theirs

oki, maybe word is dominant male (for alpha male)
he dominates the other males

but even in animal world, the males and females like who they like and don't like who they don't like
safer to think he got food first

OMGosh. I started twice and quit twice. Wrong time of the day to strain the brain! How did you do? What's your IQ?

when I lived in nyc
I had female dogs, who I did not fix
I used to watch them interact with males when they were in heat
there was one male they could not stand, no matter how hot they were
and they had favorites too
even when they weren't in heat, some males dogs they loved, some they didn't
even with Lulu
before Happy we had Skipper
Lulu loved Skippy
but she loves Happy million times more

For an hour or so today, you couldn't post to FR. Just now my Outlook Express refused to show me if I had emails. Gremlins are out and about - haha.

Thanks for liking my motley bunch... The one in the middle is my young dog. She barks at animals on the television and is quite fun to watch because she is completely bonkers.

The other two are my senior citizens... Zulu is 15 and Logan is 14 now.

since a member of our pack is camping at Crystal Cave

hairofthedog, my hubby is spelunker (likes to explore caves)
Crystal Cave (near New Mexico) is sposed to be most beautiful of all
the Tucson grotto (cave club ) is camping out there now to explore it tomorrow
caving is big deal and needs permission from NSF
cave closes on Monday (cause of bats)
to keep bats safe (cavers protect bats)
cave won't reopen till next year
