Arm the pilots, idiots, it's just that simple.

And wrong. See:

The Great Debate: whether pilots of airliners should carry weapons.

Amen! The older I get, the more I can look back at the bad times and see survival and learning. As far as nations go, it helps to have a confident and strong leader, such as Churchill was. This quote is one of my favorites.

Not hardly. Your remark suggests consent on the behalf of the Palestinian Terrorists.

I think Arafat loves Rough Trade. The only time the other Arabs come through with any serious money for him is when the Israelis are beating up on the other Palestinians. He knows the Israelis won't kill him. He is a little nervous about being collateraly damaged.

John was in the fertilized egg business.

He had several hundred young layers, called pullets and 8 roosters, whose job was to fertilize the eggs.

He kept records and any rooster or pullet that didn't perform well went into the pot and was replaced. Now this took an awful lot of time, so John got a set of tiny bells and attached them to his roosters. Now he could sit and fill out an efficiency report by listening to the sound of the bells.

John's favorite rooster was old Brewster. A very fine specimen he was but his bell had not rung all morning.Uncle John went to investigate. Several roosters were chasing pullets, bells a-ringing. Brewster had his bell in his beak so it couldn't ring. He'd sneak up to a pullet, do his job and walk on to the next one.

John was so proud, he entered him in the county fair. Brewster was an overnight sensation.

The judges not only awarded Brewster the No Bell Prize but also the Pullet Surprise!

I think that Arafatty had better watch his ASS!!!

When "W" starts directing attention the other way (His tax cut SLAPDOWN of the Rats today. A mega-feint, of the three card Monty sort), and Sharon announces the imminent withdrawal that Bush asked for, then something BIG is about to break. "W" looked MIGHTY smug today.

Plus, my Ratty-sense has been tingling all day.

:-)

Plus, my Ratty-sense has been tingling all day.

You could try medicated powder for that.

"Plus, my Ratty-sense has been tingling all day."

Odd that you would say that :) .... Just this afternoon, Ringy and I talked about that very thing. We both feel an uneasiness and have a sense that something big is about to happen.

He's not a Rhode Island Red.
I think Prentice was suggesting the rooster should make it with nully rather than merely cock-a-doodle-doo.

Do you know of anyone who had an uneasy feeling like that on September 10?
