And yes Completely redo ... one time I watched this show they redid the room to make it look like a caboose of a train because the owner was really into trains ..

To redo an entire room on a $1,000.00 would be tough.

Gosh, my lifelong best friend is a wonderful interior designer, my sister is a very good decorator and I have another good friend who is an excellant decorator (she happens to be a neighbor, too. hehehe)I might trust my home to those three but only because they know me so well. I can't imagine completely turning it over to anyone else. LOL.

it was something .. they used a lot of fabric and then built this thing over the bed to look like a window ..

I mean it was neat looking .. but no way would I decorate my house like that .. lol

I think what Mo meant is that they decorated the bedroom to look like the inside of a caboose, not that they built a caboose in the bedroom

Well, lovely people, it's been a long, full day. Whew. Up early to the Farmers Market for the best strawberries on earth, :) then spent the morning over at a community fix up project. Worked in my yard this afternoon then went to a crawfish boil this evening. I'm a tirede and very sleepy girl. :) Goodnight Everyone and sweet dreams. :)

Hi MO, I fell asleep watching TV.
I think that photo looks great. It has just the right mood and the natural light from the window is supposed to provide a moody light on the subject. The expression on Carly's face matches the tone. Ya done good.

What I did here was rotate the picture 1 degree to the left, then cropped it to the subject, then selected the inside of the window pane and blurred it to change the depth of field (it could have been done more) then selected Carly's face and the top of her dress and sharpened it (the slight rotation always messes up the sharpness). It took a couple of minutes. It would look better with a bigger version of the photo, but you get the idea. CROP until you have the portrait you want - which is of Carly, not the view of the house across the way:

Well, since "W" and Sharon have pretty well exposed Arafatty as the bloody murdering terrorist that we knew that he was all along, the only thing left for "W" and Sharon to do now, in order to clear the way for us to go all the way through the middle east fumigating the entire region, is to show the world that the REST of the region are bloody murdering terrorists too, beyond a SHADOW OF A DOUBT.

One possible way to do that, would be to call the Arab's bluff.

They keep squawking about the 'pre-1967' borders, and the settlements, saying that if ONLY those two things were different, then ALL the Arabs would suddenly LOVE the Jews, and welcome them with open arms, and everybody would suddenly break out into a chorus of 'Kumbaya.'

If I were "W," I think I would ask Israel to bulldoze the settlements, and re-locate the settlers back inside Israel proper. This will strain Israel's infra-structure, but it would show EXTREMELY unimpeachable good faith in the peace process by the Israelis.

And here is the kicker... We ought to put U.N. peace keepers in a buffer zone at the pre-1967 borders, with the EXPLICIT warning to the other Nations, that if ANYBODY attacks Israel, it won't be the U.N. or the Israelis that they will be fighting, it will be US who will retaliate against ANY aggression, terrorist OR military. It ought to be a completely closed buffer zone, with NOBODY passing through without a passport, and proper papers, like you would need when traveling to a foreign country. And Israel ought to cut off ALL economic contact with the Palestinians too, as they can easily trade in the other direction, with Jordan and Syria, across the Jordan river, since Israel keeps Palestine from being economically secure. They can open a two-lane highway route from Giza to the West Bank area, since we know they will squawk about that too.

Palestine would need to be afforded 'sovereignty' too. Then, we would have a Palestinian State, with a neutral buffer zone, but with Israel behind 'UNSAFE' indefensible borders.

Think about this for a second... Now if that situation was to come to pass, do you REALLY think that the Arabs could resist attacking a 'perceived' indefensible border?? Do you REALLY think the Palestinians would stop attacking Israel???

We KNOW they won't.

That would also DEFINITELY put the ball back into their court, and would also DARE them to do ANYTHING to Israel at their own dire risk.

Also, in true "W" fashion, he would disarm EVERYBODY in one fell swoop. The Palestinians would have NO legitimate reason to bitch, as they would have their own 'sovereign' state. The media would be completely disarmed in their lying bleating about the Israelis 'occupying' or 'repressing' the Palestinians.

The Arabs wouldn't be disarmed per se, but their rhetoric would be put to the EXTREME test. It would be gut check time for them. Put up, or shut-up, once and for all.

We ALL know that the Palestinians and the rest of the Arabs have NO intention of living up to the words they have promised in the past, but if "W" calls their bluff, and they are shown WITHOUT A DOUBT to have been lying the whole time, then NOBODY could POSSIBLY blame "W" for whatever he has to do after that, to clean out the whole region.

In this case, conceding to their 'wishes' will actually REVEAL their dastardliness.

Anything less, and the Arabs and their lap-dogs the presstitues will rip the administration to shreds.

This whole situation might fall under the heading of: 'be careful what you Arabs ask for, you just might get it.'

The only people who believe that the Palestinians are NOT lying now are people who hate Israel and the United States. There is no way to appease them. We must ignore them and just do what is right. The Arabs will fight to the last Palestinian, the Egyptians will fight to the last Palestinian, the Syrians will fight to the last Palestinian, the Lebanese will fight to the last Palestinian, etc..... We must completely destroy, break up and relocate the people called Palestinians - and NOT allow them into the U.S.A. or Israel.
