I will wrap up the beta and install it this weekend.
What necessary functions are available in the current version of Free Republic's software that are not available in the beta?

Well more specific to the Red on the numbered reply would be OK!
i still ...sniff... miss the css though.
The hyperlink that changes from blue to red is harder to see on the main forum for some reason (it shouldn't be but it is). Maybe a brighter red would work?
I think you need to implement the ability to "Add new keywords" pretty quickly after you turn on the whole new system. Otherwise everyone will try to recreate the whole of the items in the Bump Registar as Topics and I think it should be with an interplay between Topics and Keywords!
Anyone else got comments on this ?
It IS a cool feature, but something tells me it's going to go bye-bye one of these days.
I notice that the red content looks different depending on the size of the monitor. I agree with you that a more vivid red will help.
Reminds me of the old FR versions I saw in the archives...
It'll take some serious getting-used-to, dude... I have to be brutally honest and say I like the current version alot better but looks like y'all have worked hard on this so I reckon I'll deal, won't I. ;) Maceman is right about the fonts being too big though...
Also the latest posts are not showing up.
Stop feeding the gremlins after midnight. And for God's sake don't take 'em swimming.
