The grocery store took all my money - so I guess I'll stay away from the malls this week. The kids get a couple of days off for Easter now - they just had a week off for spring break! Now they get a mini-break.

He never had an easy time of it in his mortal flesh. He was born with a club foot and things never improved physically for him as he grew. May he find mercy and wholeness.

I'm trying to psyche myself into Mall Mode. My dress for Sunday is a white linen, fitted sheath. It has a large black and white fabric flower on the left shoulder. I've decide a red one will look much better. Especially since I'm wearing a wide brimmed black hat. Sooooo, I gotta go find a large red flower in linen, silk, or maybe an organza. Plus, I've pick up my shoes, too. Grrroan. I don't have a choice I have to go. *whimper*

The black and white sounds very pretty - I always think of the scene at the races in the movie My Fair Lady when women wear stiking black and white dresses - especially with hats. Can you yell, "Move yer bloomin' arse!"

Heeheehee. Loved that scene, loved that movie.
I like the clean, crisp look of black and white, too. The dress has princess seams and fits very smoothly and snugly. It's lined so it should retain it's shape and not bag out as linen has tendancy to do. I just think it needs a little zip and I think the red flower will do that. Also, I need to look for some new earrings. My hair is shoulder length, medium brown, So to keep it from fighting with the black hat, I think I'm going to put it up in the hat which means I need a pretty Spingish looking earring. Can you tell I'm giving myself a little peptalk ? LOL

Hi Darlin' - I'll send a smooch to Flash too!! But as to Dudley Moore, he had such a grotesque illness and he was suffering terribly. I forget the name of it, but it was like a muscular dystrophy but not actually that. He couldn't swallow etc. It was really horrible.
