Anyone who wants to see how dumbed down our schools are should look at this
1895 8th Grade final Exam
It will also make you feel retarded

"You mean like the Boy Scouts excluding gays and atheists?" Yeah, I guess those could be included. But the idea of private is just that PRIVATE! Meaning none of anybody else's d**n business! I thought that was what a club was for...to get people together of like mind for a COMMON purpose! Why would anybody want to be in a club that didn't want them anyway?

Maybe conservatives are going about dealing with these kinds of issues all wrong. Maybe we ought to hijack some of their issues and run with them until they're fighting US to keep US from getting what THEY want! Could work.

Just don't call it Jew-Jitsu...
To: Darlin'
Hi Darlin! Tony is doing great. They are expecting a baby in Sept. They told him he where he is going but I don't know if I should say it here. He isn't even sure when. We have been on pins and needles for so long that it is now a way of life for us. Thanks for asking! He never gets on the net but I tell him about those who enquire. It makes him feel good! (Me, too)!

Sorry, just posted on a whiney US Muslim thread...
To: Jaidyn
Well, I'm sure you must be concerned and proud over his orders. Please tell him he is in our thoughts and prayers and that we're proud and grateful for his service, too. It's needless to ask this I'm sure, but here goes... you're excited about the baby ? :)

" just posted on a whiney US Muslim thread..." Which one? I was just reading that one about Iranians.
To: Jaidyn
They told him he where he is going but I don't know if I should say it here. Prolly not, loose lips and all...

Yes, I am excited. This will be my fourth grandchild. His little girl, Jaidyn (guess where I got my name?) will be two next month. He adores her. He puts her on the phone everytime he calls which is every chance he gets. I didn't realize my heart could get so big but with every grandchild, it just swells more and more. I better shut up because I can go on forever about them.

You are the only person I know who is named after their own grand daughter...
To: Jaidyn
Not to worry for one minute. Our collective hearts grow whenever we hear those warm and happy stories from parents and especially those of grandparents. You're covered on both fronts. :)

I was trying to envision what kind of Star Trek time warp, or wormhole time travel incident could have caused that...

LOL! All of my sons are older than me! I quit having birthdays a long time ago! I have another granddaughter that I use, too! And my grandson (can't leave him out). I don't like to show partiality so I use them all. Most of the time I use my real name but snafus forced me to use other names and I have to keep it simple. ;^}

Have y'all been listening to the reports on Fox today talking about how extrememly vulnerable the nuclear power plants are? It is already known from evidence found in Afghanistan that terrorists are particularly interested in the power plants, and they don't even know how many foreign nationals are employed by them because they are not particularly well screened. Really comforting huh?
To: gratefulwharffratt; null and void
I'm guessing she took her grandaughter's name as her screen name. :)

The latest Windoze machine is now up and functioning.
For those of you who don't know Nully, please take the time to visit his home page and check out his "hot spots."
It's worth the visit!
