This evening I got a ping to a thread by someone I wouldn't give the time of day to. I sent a private FReepmail asking to have my name removed from his/her list as we have nothing in common to discuss and thanked him/her.
Just a few minutes ago I received a response...."But I thought you liked so and so".
Responded this time much more blunt--I don't appreciate their BS attitude nor the insufferable group he/she runs with and repeated the request to remove my name.
This surely is a weird day for weird things to happen.

LOL. I absolutely l-o-v-e to shop, I just don't like Malls especially crowded Malls. I much prefer boutique shopping. I'm pretty good at avoiding Malls during busy holiday periods but I've spent so much time out in the yard this month that Easter kinda slipped up on me. I did have fun once I got there. LOL

LOL. Love those thingiemybobs. I may even do some swimsuit shopping tomorrow, too. :)

LOL....and I absolutely detest shopping. I know that is one thing my daughter will want to do when I go to Phoenix next month......I'll do it to make her happy, but it never has done a thing for me.
If I have something specific to get, I'll go to get it and then I'm done...I think daughter inherited that love of shopping trait from her grandmother and great-grandmother--certainly not me!! :)
BTW, the only mall in our town, is an 'office building complex which houses, among other things, an optometrist and a medical supplies store'!!

An Easter slip -- hmmm... did you remember to get a new slip to wear with your dress? *L* I like the one Elizabeth Taylor wore through much of Cat on a Hot Tin Roof I always wanted to play that role just so I could wear a slip on stage. Instead I was Stella in Streetcar Named Desire - but that was when I was 16, before I realized that it was an old chickenhawk's autobiographical role. (We only did one scene of that play in high school anyway) sheeeeesh... Why do clothes always remind me of plays and movies?

Not

A bull flipped Lyle Lovett's uncle, Calvin Klein, 67, and Lovett was trampled while trying to help his uncle.

LOL. I'm seldom ever able to pass by a lingerie shop without stopping. I have slips of every color, length, description you can imagine. Yes, I loved the slip Liz wore in that film, too. Coveted it for years. I think clothes often remind us of movies we loved.

" that guy sounds like a keeper" Was I being too particular maybe? Actually, he was very sweet and he was crazy about me, but he was a smotherer! I love it when a guy dotes on me to a point. I also like it that he knows when's enough. Pete didn't. I swear I think he would have cut up my food for me if I'd have let him.
To: John Robinson
I don't know...I'm mostly lost now.
Everything's changed, and I don't know where to go. I've been gone for two weeks, and I'm lost!
But I sure appreciate your welcoming us, and giving us a home.
