Give you strength? For real? Dear lady, after the day you just described you've ever doubted your strength?
To: Letitring
You must have had someone with you at the mall to tote all those shopping bags or you'll be needing shoulder surgery next. Do the mall stores deliver?
To: Mo1
Then you said .. YAWN .. What till he tries to use the floppy Drive
You are gonna have to show me that post. I sure don't remember it. Nor do I know what you mean by it.
To: Mo1
"Today's the viewing." ROTFL! I think I'll send that to my dad. He'll love it.
To: null and void
He didn't quite make it as your number three
Texas-born singer and actor Lyle Lovett has been taken to a Houston hospital.
A spokesman at Memorial Hermann Hospital confirmed that Lovett was admitted Wednesday afternoon. The spokesman also says the 44-year-old entertainer was taken into surgery -- but is listed in good condition. The Grammy award-winning singer was apparently taken to the hospital with a broken leg he suffered in a ranch accident.

Mo, hi there. Been missing you. I did something tonight, I'm not sure of. There was this little girl in this one shop, where I was. She was pitching a fit for a certain dress. Her mom wouldn't get it for her, said it cost too much money. That little girl looked so hurt. I bought it, handed it to the little girl. Her Mother looked at me a little odd. I thought maybe I had offended her, or something. Then, I figured I should have ASKED the Mother, first. So, I apologized. The Mom asked me why was I saying that, and did I want the dress back. Oh Lord. I said no, not at all. That in fact, I'd like to get her some shoes to go with. She said okay, and I did. I guess it was okay, but that mother just kept looking at me real odd. Oh well. I meant it for good. Sure didn't intend to offend her. I just don't know how Mom's think.
To: Letitring
*LOL* You've just created another little YOU.
To: Rowdee

No, but they will sure cart them to the car for you. ROFL. :)

That was a beautiful deed, LIR.....one little girl's dream certainly came true.
It's hard to say what was running through Mom's mind....could be a zillion things, or just the sheer wonderment that someone would do something for her child.

I am going to bed. Been a loooooong day. I sure hate it about Israel. That is so bad. Makes me very sad. They can't continue to live that way. Somehow, those homocide bombers must be stopped.
To: Letitring
How nice.....how very nice.
To: Letitring
Well ... sometimes folks are not use to people doing nice things like that for others which may be the reason why she gave you a funny look
If she was really offended I have a feeling she would have let you known .. lol
You did a nice thing ... nothing wrong with that ..

Did your parents ever tell you no as a child when you wanted something? Did you always get the things you wanted? I was told NO all the time, for many reasons, not just based on what they could afford. It would have been so cool if a nice stranger had bought me the Easter dress I wanted, instead of one that matched my sisters'. Of course I would have wanted a pink or red one and they are not my colors so my mom made me wear blue or green or yellow *LOL*.
To: Rowdee
Oh, I hope you are right. I just never know anymore what to do. A few years back, I would have never given it another thought. But now, good grief. Oh well. I'm just going to believe you are right about it. :) Anyway the little girl was happy.:)
To: Letitring
Heeeeey. I'm about to drop, I've just been reading, trying to get caught up on the thread.... I think you did more to help the economy today than I did. LOL. 1 pair of shoes, 1 handbag, 2 pair of earrings, 2 bottles of nail polish. I'm not sure I'm going to keep the bag. I might take it back tomorrow. Yes, I have to go back tomorrow. grrrr.
To: ValerieUSA;yall
Well, I have already let FReeping cut into my sleeping time big time this week, and I have another 4 am morning tomorrow so I'd better go. Y'all have fun. Goodnight.
*HUGS*

Girl... I thought I was going more insane.
That has NOTHING to do with the floppy drive not working. (The driver for standard floppy drives is built-in to XP anyway.)
It is referring to XP not working once you change any of your Hardware, thanks to MicroSloth's little 'registration' scheme where it memorizes your Hardware configuration, and then locks you out of your computer if you change your hardware configuration later. (Like if you were to exchange a hard drive, or add a video card or something like that later on down the road.)
