Did the Clintons just have the ability to cover their tracks enough to prevent being charged with anything? They are lawyers, after all.

That and the fact that sooooo many of their good friends ended up dead helped a little ..

The clintons became lawyers right in the middle of watergate.... they learned what NOT to do. The Independent Counsel lawyers were 20 years behind the times.

Yes, that's what they did. In Arkansas they could contain the spin better but when they got to the bigger pond of DC politics and power things started to crumble.... Not enough so that could be nailed and certainly not enough to be convicted before a DC jury but mighty close.... remember Web Hubbel ? The democrats would like to rewrite the last 8 years and play down the successes of that investigation but the truth is a lot of folks went to jail. They just couldn't make a case that would stick against the Clintons.

I found the tobacco barns generally uninteresting compared to the ones where the animals were kept. I LOVED barns! Still do actually. My imagination could just go on forever on a summer day on the farm!

And after a rain, it was fun to chase and try to catch little muddy baby pigs! Those were the days. We sure did get dirty, and a bath was a pan of water on the back porch!
