We have two young dogs (their first birthday is right around occ's birthday *L* April 19) and they love it when Uncle Yoda is dumb enough to run out the back door into their yard. Yoda ends up covered in dog slobber and very indignant.

i agree, get rid of the damn beauracracy and watch capitalism at it's best.....remember when los angeles had that earthquake and they turned it over to private industry....had the bridges and interstate back up and running in record time...

i had the opportunity to see him out on a location when he dropped by to see a company man that was out on location with us at the time we were working on a well, they were big buds and he showed us his scars, it was summertime and yes, i did have my shirt off, i was 21 years old at the time...

There was the Oakland earthquake - and the Northridge earthquake. I remember now that private companies really got California moving again. Never would happen under Grey Davis. He would find a way to worsen the impact of the earthquake damage.

I believe it was in 1989 and they said it would be years to repair the freeway and it was done in less than a year.

I have no dought that the WTC workers are being overpaid and it breaks my heart to see all the lawsuits being fomented.

I was just reading another thread about Russell Crowe's temper tantrum. Then find out the article is about an incident from 3 years ago. The bashing of Crowe so that the movie A Beautiful Mind doesn't win the Oscars is dispicable. That is an excellent movie.

Wasn't that the weirdest thing? Tuning in to watch the world series and see an earthquake happen right at that very moment! Spooky!
