VP Cheney Seeing an Irish Woman
3/17/02 | LoanPalm

I heard a news item on the radio a little while ago that VP Cheney was seeing a Irish woman every three months or so.

The radio said her name was Angie O'Plastie.

Not like any Irish name I ever heard. Has anyone heard about this?

Funny. My brother-in-law had a date with Angie several years back, and he is already married to an Irish gal.

Badda bump!

It is generally referred to as a rimshot. Not to be confused with the shot heard 'round the world, a shot in the dark, or a shot and a beer. I prefer the latter.

I used to do stand up comedy until the incident. Now I do sit down comedy. It's easier. When ever I did stand-up the crowd would always yell 'sit down, sit down', so I did.

We had guests, corned beef & cabbage, potatos, & bier. Entertainment included another viewing of "The Quiet Man", John Wayne & Maureen O'Hara.

How was your Saint Paddy's Day?

And I had just enough Guiness tonight to make that joke seem funny :-)
