Threads posted prior to 9/4/01 are temporarily locked.
These threads use older technology which has yet to be fully integrated with the new system. In the meantime, to carry-over such threads into the new system, posters will be required to repost the article. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Any idea about when the old threads will be unlocked? There were some extremely good, timeless, threads, and it would be nice to add to the posts.
Thanks for all you have done for us - FR is invaluable, and wouldn't exist without you.
Any chance this will be implemented? TIA.
So'd you ever fix this?
Thanks for the memories! That was sooo funny!
Hi, ladyinred!
Caught some of your comments in the "So long to my friends..." post!
Gosh, I love this place.
Some brilliant stuff.
Some screwy stuff, too.
(Laz, for example)
It's maybe that alternate definition of temporary that is confusing everybody. The term I used means "probably never."
I did have hopes to integrate the old stuff into the new system, but this issue is complicated and not very useful, and growing less useful as time passes. So probably never. If you want to bump something from the past, create a new thread and link to the old one.
LOL

(((PING)))
When will this temporary lockage cease?
Sadly it's looking more than temporary now. If it's worth bumping, it's probably worth reposting into the new system, linking back to the old style URL.
Thanks, John.
