You would not believe the work I've done! I got a huge amount of the leaves raked and piled most of them onto a tarp. Then I drug them around to the back yard and the boys have been playing in them! (That mashes them up and then we use it for mulch in the garden.)

Then I mowed and mulched the rest of the front yard leaves into tiny pieces.

Then I sprayed the house with house cleaner and then took a MOP and scrubbed the entire front of the house. We had so many spiders that they had pooped an incredible amount on the front of our light bamboo colored masonite-sided house! Who knew spiders could poop so much!? Most of them didn't tolerate the house cleaner solution I used.

Then I spiffed up the outside of the windows with Windex.

You sound over-efficient. I washed a car, studied, and wrote about... 1300 words today. Saturdays are for being lazy!

Unfortunately, I think someone stole the boy's pumpkins that they got at their pumpkin patch party a couple of weeks ago...

Yard work was the order of the afternoon here in MA as well. The kids raked the majority of the leaves, then I mowed the lawn fairly short and picked up the rest of the leaves at the same time. I had to dump the grass catcher about 6 times! I'm going out in a bit to get some granulated lime and Winterizer fertilizer to put on the lawn early tomorrow afternoon. It is supposed to rain tomorrow night into Monday, so it will soak that stuff in real well! Then I'm DONE for this year, in the yard at least.

I am NOT looking forward to the inside work I have to do. I have to DE-JUNK big time before we can start on the remodeling!

You would not believe the work I've done!

Fantastic! Sounds a lot like my day. I blew out the gutters. Blew out the garage. Raked the entire yard, bagged all the leaves and put them on our perennial garden to protect/insulate from the coming freezeup. Got the snowblower running and ready for winter. Let it Snow! I'm ready! Tonight we're going to have a fire in the fireplace and maybe play a board game. I'm batching it because Susan is in Las Vegas at a music teacher's convention. Lasagna in the microwave is sure smelling good.

Here's to hard work and the glow it puts on the inside!

I didn't know you could make snowmen in Tulsa. Was that a freak snowstorm you had, or do you always get snow? Sorry about your pumpkins. I know that feeling of not wanting to tell the kids something that will disappoint them. It's hard. I have not practiced for a couple weeks, now. Got to get inspired again.
