I actually have, in my wardrobe, an "outfit" that would work if I ever wanted to dress up. There's a deerskin-colored shirt that looks like a tunic, laces up at the neck. For pants I have a pair of off-white leggings; there's a pair of short black boots I can wear, and my winter coat, right now, is a long black cape. Really. It's supposed to be for Sundays but I seem to have lost my other coat, so I'm wearing that...
Anyway, with a long green sash and some type of weapon it would be a great costume. If I dressed up, ever, that's what I'd wear.
Sounds like a cool outfit. I did tunics, capes, etc for several years because both our older boys were heavily involved in Live Action Role playing and had neat characters developed for themselves. I even sewed for their friends who needed capes if their moms were 'sewing impaired".
They boys used to give me grief because my craftroom in the basement is chock FULL of all kinds of strange stuff, but when they needed something and asked for it, I almost ALWAYS had it. After about the 3rd time this happened, I told them they couldn't complain about all my junk anymore because THEY were the ones who used it!
