LOL I read the Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe to Matthew a year ago. Time to read it again, I guess. We're finishing up The Little House in the Big Woods.

I just came from the house...stayed long enough to hear Dad read the last three chapters or so of These Happy Golden Years (the last of the Laura Ingalls books) to the kids.
As for the Narnia series, my favorite was definitely The Magician's Nephew. Guess I've always had a thing for magic rings!

We read the Chronicles of Narnia to the kids about 5 yrs. ago when ds was 8 and dd was 10. They enjoyed it immensely. Have you seen the Wonderworks production of the Chronicles? It was 3 parts; The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, The Voyage of the Dawn Treader, and the Silver Chair. It was a very good adaptation combining live action and animation. I know it is on video. Check your library or video store. It would be fine for both boys, I believe.
