But seriously, I love the dramatic interplay and symbolism in The Two Towers, particularly the use of Gollum's two natures (Slinker and Stinker, or Gollum/Smeagol) which can be compared to the two natures of man as described by.. um... someone... or what about the obvious meanings of the Elves leaving Middle Earth, or... er, Boromir was a jerk!

Oh, sure, even the title of the book indicates the use of point and countpoint to make a, uhm, point... about good and evil, and, and, the duality of man, and, uh, falling from grace to a state of, uhm, wretchedness......
