Yes, I believe in six-day, literal creation. I'm a bit flexible about the age of the earth, and quite frankly it may not have been made on a Thursday, but hey, I figure I believe in God, a few miracles is nothing really.

Hmm. I'm probably on the other side of the fence from you there, but am not totally convinced of it, just think it (evolution) seems probable. My mom was very religious and managed, in her mind, to reconcile belief in both sides at once.

Since we are just stating our position, I currently believe the world has not only evolved before, but it is evolving still. I don't see that as running counter to God, because I believe Genesis is a parable told to an unscientific and simple people, and should not be read as Science.

I believe God created the Earth and all things in it, on it, and over it, and it might have taken Him 6 days. I'm always amused, though, at the folks who say it had to have been in 6 EARTH days. How do WE know how long God's days are, and who are WE to LIMIT Him to OUR knowledge of days? I'd be interested to see a timeline of Evolutionary Biology compared with the timeline of Creation in the Bible.
