hehehe, well, I tried... does a 2-post sneak still qualify as a sneak?

I think a two-post sneak is acceptable by any standard, expecially on a Saturday!

Mourning doves like to roost in the big tree outside our bedroom window, so we get to hear that call all the time!

I love to hear them in the woods behind our house in the morning. Sometimes a pair will fly down to our deck and sit on the railing and coo away! In the winter, they'll fly down to the deck and nibble at the seed below the bird feeder that the other birds have knocked down there. They are such an interesting color. One is 'Dove Gray' but there is one that is a soft rosy brown color that is lovely!

All we get is Rain,

I'd settle for a couple inches of rain after I'm finished this weekend, of course!

They've got doves in the FL keys and the islands that make a call that sounds just like a kazoo, strangely. It looks like a normal dove except for a large dark spot on its throat.

Can we ban Corin and Kevin from going after the precious today?

Discrimination! Discrimination!

Good Saturday all. Went yard saling this morning. Bought nothing. Gonna watch Ocean's Eleven while the little one naps, then off to the pool.

Another sunny day here, but later this summer we'll get the leftover huricanes from Overtaxed...

Hi Corin,

I went out and rented the whale Star Trek movie yesterday....all that discussion got me to feeling like watching it. My wife and I are going to put it on later. I'm amazed that its from as long ago as 1986

Hallo! Sun here. Went to Borders, spent my leftover birthday gift cards on a nice hardcover. Now I have work, at 4. Should I read When the Devil Dances, watch the Harry Potter movie (any new "Burn that witch" threads?) or talk to you guys?

I'll probably be outside most of the afternoon working on a mirror stand.

It is indoor work, and the TV for me. Once the temperatures stay in the 90's, I only go out when I have to, or to go swimming.

I don't mind getting leftovers if you'll take dibs!

Hey Sam, there was a thread on FR a few weeks ago about transparent aluminum!! Remember THAT while you're watching the movie!

Yes, I think you're right about indoor or the pool in this weather. The 88 degree temperature and sun was pretty strong. I got the mirror stand finished, but now I need a pint...

I'll keep that in mind tonight, I suppose I'll understand what you mean as I watch?

Less than 200 days! Yippy skippy! Done working again. I'm happy, I got to chat with an old friend for a while this afternoon, got some happy reading in this morning. What's up now? Anyone want any pizza, I've had more of that than I can stand.

Late night bump. It's friendlier over here even if no one is around...
