Here’s a partial list that I came up with (for some reason it is easier to cast the politicians in the bad guy roles rather than the good guy roles):

1.) Al Gore – Evil Ent
2.) Bill Cl***** - Sauron
3.) George W. – Strider (He hasn’t quite grown into Aragorn yet, though the potential is there)
4.) Jeffords – Boromir
5.) Daschle – Gollum
6.) Gephardt – Wormtongue
7.) Ron Paul – Faramir
8.) Dick Armey – Gimli
9.) Tom Delay – Legolas

Well, there’s my stab at it.

Jin Jeffords as Saruman!

Ooh, that's better than mine. I had him as Boromir, because he started out as a good guy, but then turned bad. Jeffords as Boromir was faulty because Boromir redeems himself in the end, Saruman doesn't.

I guess that we could always hope that even though Jeffords looks like a Saruman now, that he may end up turning out to be a Boromir. (I know, I know, fat chance; but remember, this is a thread about a FANTASY topic)
