You have made me laugh... and now I have heard the horns of Gondor play a fine version of Roll out the Barrel... Now that's a good night! May you dream of ants!

Hair, isn't that what Boromir meant with that spiel about the Horns calling the Lords of Gondor home?
To: SuziQ
Gondor HAS no choreographer, Gondor NEEDS no choreographer! ROTFLOL!!
To: SuziQ
When Boromir said that people would say "The lords of Gondor have returned"... is that anything like Lords of the Dance?
Ok, I'm up to late. Night, all!

The things you notice when you're taking stills....
Did anyone notice that Isildur appears to be sporting the seven stars on his armor in the prologue? At least, that's what it looks like to me in this picture:

Now that you mention it (and provided the still), yes! I noticed it!
Good Morning everyone....are we still silly this morning?

Me:
Isn't Viggo Dutch? He's not one of those Hollywood, Alec Baldwin type libs is he? Penny1: You don't really want to know, do you? I know I don't!
Now that you mention it, no, I don't really want to know. ;^)
QUESTION FOR EVERYBODY: If politicians had been cast for the roles in LOTR, who would play what?
We already know who would play Shelob, what about the rest?

Heres a partial list that I came up with (for some reason it is easier to cast the politicians in the bad guy roles rather than the good guy roles):
1.) Al Gore Evil Ent
2.) Bill Cl***** - Sauron
3.) George W. Strider (He hasnt quite grown into Aragorn yet, though the potential is there)
4.) Jeffords Boromir
5.) Daschle Gollum
6.) Gephardt Wormtongue
7.) Ron Paul Faramir
8.) Dick Armey Gimli
9.) Tom Delay Legolas
Well, theres my stab at it.

Jin Jeffords as Saruman!Ooh, that's better than mine. I had him as Boromir, because he started out as a good guy, but then turned bad. Jeffords as Boromir was faulty because Boromir redeems himself in the end, Saruman doesn't.
I guess that we could always hope that even though Jeffords looks like a Saruman now, that he may end up turning out to be a Boromir. (I know, I know, fat chance; but remember, this is a thread about a FANTASY topic)

Make Al Gore Deagol! Then who can blame Smeagol for dispatching him.
To: ksen
And don't be insulting Smeagol with Daschle. There is at least some good in Smeagol.
To: carton253;JenB;ksen
I have a hard time casting politicians in the roles of good guys. :)

Make Al Gore Deagol! Then who can blame Smeagol for dispatching him. That's true, but I was trying to play off of Gore's wooden tree like personality.
