Heh... you will love it! - I have just gotten home now, it has been a long day! - I think I am just gonna catch up here and go to bed!
To: HairOfTheDog
Hi Hair - thanks for answering my questions. I've had a horribly busy day and no time at all to be online.

You are quite welcome! I hope I can see your paper! - Are you going to say you interviewed someone who had been to the "dark side"? Perhaps call me a pirate? ;~D
To: HairOfTheDog
Don't worry, you'll be anonymous! And of course if you want to see the paper you can.
Oh, I've had no free time at all today, and this week's gonna be bad... the pastor and his family are coming for dinner Wednesday, and I have a test on Thursday... man, good thing Thanksgiving's coming.

You're not going to BELIEVE what I did!! ARRGH! I had made plans to fly our second son home from college on the morning of the 18th so we could all go see TTT on opening day, then go out to eat afterwards. I made the reservations, then e-mailed the itinerary to him telling him of the plan to try to make the 3pm show. He just e-mailed me pointing out that the plane ticket was for the 10:25 PM flight, NOT the AM flight! I was SO mad at myself. But I'm not going to spend $100 to change the ticket just to see the movie on the 18th! We'll go the the first movie on the 19th. It is probably for the best because knowing our son, he would have had a hard time getting packed to leave for that earlier flight. His last final is on the evening of the 17th, so he'd be busy studying and probably wouldn't have had time to do the packing.
That will teach me to PAY ATTENTION TO THE TIMES I CHOOSE!!!

I was thinking about learning that one by ear as soon as I get through crap month. :)Crap month...I like it! From now on, November shall be known as Crap Month.
And for more than just NaNoWriMo reasons...I don't know about down there, but up here it is the ooooogliest time of year, even worse than mud season! I almost can't wait for the snow to cover it all up.
Back for more writing! Took a hot bath, and I'm armed with hot chocolate. Woo-hoo!
To: SuziQ
I bet there's a midnight movie somewhere! LOL Just kidding...

He just e-mailed me pointing out that the plane ticket was for the 10:25 PM flight, NOT the AM flight!Ouch! That's hard. See, it's stuff like this that makes me wonder why the US (unlike the rest of the civilized world!) doesn't use 24 hour time! It makes things so much easier, really!
On the other hand...it's really only a difference of a few hours, though I sympathize with you, I really do!
To: JenB
Oh, I've had no free time at all today, and this week's gonna be bad...Does this mean the rest of us NaNoWriMo-ans can finally [partially] catch up? ;-)
Sorry things are so hectic for ya!
To: 2Jedismom
You too, Rosie...see 42059.Yeah, I'd like to see it when you get a chance! Thanks!
To: JenB; Overtaxed
3100 words I got in today! 3100! Woo-hoo! I'll make up that 8000 yet! Up to 22158 now.
And now I'd better get to bed before I funkle myself!

...I don't know about down there, but up here it is the ooooogliest time of year, even worse than mud season! It's not too bad. The leaf color is still good. We're getting rain now which is kind or dreary but we're still in a drought situation so I won't complain. It's not too cold yet. I still have my Christmas cactus outside. Those lousy squirrels are too perky, though.

'mornin' OT... leaves a about half gone here... color is still good... cold, rainy weekend... cold Monday mornin'...
I'm jammin' thru my in-box so I'm free this afternoon to uh... go workout... yeah that's it... it's gun season now... time to fill the freezer...
To: g'nad
leaves a about half gone here... color is still good... cold, rainy weekend... cold Monday mornin'Pretty much the same here. At least the sun is shining now.
Good Morning! Where are all the layabouts?
To: g'nad; Overtaxed; RosieCotton; All
Morning All.
Chilly here this AM, at least for here, with a NW breeze. 54 degrees at the moment, was a record low of 50 earlier. Some of the live oak leaves are falling, though they won't fall in earnest 'til late February or March. Then, after 2,3 weeks, they'll grow back.
To: Sam Cree
after 2,3 weeks, they'll grow back. LOL... that's just wrong... g'mornin' Sam... got that scope nice and zeroed... I can't believe the flat trajectory I'm gettin' out of those copper solids...
To: g'nad
What scope have you got on that thing? How far out can you take a shot with it.
Hope you have good luck.
To: Overtaxed
"At least the sun is shining now." Yeah, we have sun, too, and very clear air like you get after a strong cold front. The thunderstorms were cool when the squall line came through Saturday night. Very loud, deep thunder. We had a tornado watch, but no tornadoes, luckily.
To: Sam Cree
No thunderstorms here. Just a cold rain. The cat was bummed.
