Thanks Sam! - That is really nice of you to say!
What a waste of a day! - I spent the whole day mad and scared! He said some things that were downright sociopathic. I really didn't know how to react. He did call and back-pedal and try to make a joke of it, but jokes were not called for (nor do I believe he was joking)... I will be a bit more wary of him from now on. I have the whole email exchange but I am trying not to read it any more.
I would like to take passive aggressive lessons OT, I want to someday be able to work "bless your heart" into a conversation naturally!

I'm the opposite. Rough drafts are hard to get out. It's in the revisions that I come up with the better ideas.

Hey! Look! I got my webpage up! Thank you so much, Bear!
Link to the currently empty first page. But I put up a list of characters and such so I can keep things straight

I can't STOP editing when I am writing. I will tweak and fiddle with words until someone cuts me off. I am never happy with it!

Hehe....practice using "Bless your/his/her heart" to preface backhanded compliments.
Bless his heart, he doesn't know what he's doing, but he tries.
To: Overtaxed
Bless his heart... He has no idea I put arsenic in his coffee.
(Oh wait... that's not really passive aggression is it?)
I will keep working on it!

You need a backhanded compliment or something like: "Bless your heart, I'm so sorry you have such a flat learning curve."
That's right. A backhanded compliment or insincere sympathy.
To: Overtaxed
Ahh... I've got it better now. I shall keep practicing.

Always ready when duty calls... You got that right... just got done consuming about 2 lbs of red meat off the bone... grilled some steaks and whole mushrooms on the grill... it's rainin' and about 40 degrees, but the wife wanted to grill... We live on the second story of base quarters, so I was standin' out in the cold rain fer about 30 minutes... I did my duty without grumbling...buuuuuuurp!....aahhhhh....
To: g'nad
Such a good husband standing out in the cold grilling 'cuz his lady likes it!
Makes me feel all warm and fuzzy!

A warm and fuzzy thread killer!

It's really quite easy. When the jerk starts going off again, put on a real concerned look and say "Well, Bless Your Heart, you must be havin a bad day! He'll probably look at you like you've gone nuts, but I'll bet it shuts him up for awhile!
To: SuziQ
Oh look! - There were folk comin' down the thread if I was just more patient!
Thanks Suzi... I am savin' it. If this is just the start of a person self-destructing, I will not be the only one who knows for long. If it really was a joke, it will at least be the last time I am a willing participant in it.
I just want to wipe the whole thing offa me.

I didn't do anything about it. I dropped my sword and fell, like Frodo. I am too astonished to fight with this thing. That is just exactly how I felt when that bald-faced loon of a shrink socked into me that morning. Astonished and shaken.
If he were to approach me now, I am pretty sure I'd kick his ass.
I can say ass...it's in the Bible.
To: HairOfTheDog
You two boys are exactly what I needed! - I said, Hmmm... What would make me feel better? - Stewing and fuming? - Or sending my friends the dwarves after him?See?! Precisely why this was the first place I came after Steve brought me home that Sunday.
