I agree with your sentiment 10000000000000000000%!!!!

< i > for italics ( < / i > to stop) < b > for bold , < u > to underline, and for small font, < font size=1 >I knew how to do the italics, it was the other stuff that was a mystery to me. I'm gonna try it ALL in this one post. Did it work?.
Woo Hoo!! Well, you learn something new every day!!

< center > and < /center > to center images and text.

How are we doing now?
To: RosieCotton
I like Pamela Bruner and the Chieftains. The Rowallan Consort has also done some pretty good stuff with a celtic air.
To: RMDupree
Yes, but I've changed to Sularion -- which nobley, windy elf.
To: 2Jedismom
Yikes, I forgot to write it down! I think AOTC was at 44% and FoTR was about 37%.
To: SuziQ
It was 30% to 50% AOTC when I first started on it. We're gaining on them Baby!

I like Pamela Bruner and the Chieftains. The Rowallan Consort has also done some pretty good stuff with a celtic air. Like the Chieftains, though I've come to prefer stuff with more backup and arranging. I haven't heard of Pamela Bruner or The Rowallan Consort. What are they like?
To: SuziQ
It worked! I'm slowly picking stuff up as I go along, partly from asking questions, partly from going to View / Source in Internet Explorer and sorting through the gobbledy-goop until I find some useful tags.
To: RosieCotton
what are the tags to add an image?

For example:

Nobley and windy!
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Too funny!
I've got to run. I am dead tired from last night's wedding and just want to lay down and sleep. But, unforrtunately, I've got sooo much to do when I get home that my bed is naught but a dream for now. *sigh*
I've left the buffet open for the late night Hole-dwellers. Plenty of steaks left and a fresh platter of sauteed mushrooms. There's a few casks out back if anyone takes a mind to tapping one! See you all tomorrow!

testing...testing...
Great Gimli's Beard! I think he's got it!!
To: ItsOurTimeNow
You've got it!
The one other set of tags that comes in handy is for hyperlinking (which you may already know, but while I'm at it...) If I want to link to (just as an example) Yahoo, and do it with the words "Click here", I do it thusly:
< a href="http://www.yahoo.com" > Click here! < /a >
Like this: Click here!
To: ItsOurTimeNow; Overtaxed; JenB; All
And now I've imparted all the knowledge I have about HTML...maybe OT or one of the others can instruct us on text colors and such? I have very limited knowledge there...
To: RosieCotton
< font color=blue > and < /font >
comes out:
and
Or you could use hex code for red, blue, green:
< font color=0000ff > blue < /font >
blue
To: RosieCotton
And for secret writing....< font color=white > Keep it secret. < /font >
< font color=ffffff > Keep it safe. < /font >
Keep it secret.
Keep it safe.
