Yep...we just finished painting the baseboards before we went to the party. So they were nice and dry and just wiped off with a little lysol solution...no problem.

Well good! I am hoping you will keep me company on the plane.... It will be quite an adventure! And I would love to go to Disney World and the Kennedy Space Center. Ksen is going to make sure there is a shuttle launch while we are there.

This was many years ago...probably thirteen years ago, before Steve and I got married.

I think I'd heard of vodka being used, but not that often. Everyone I ever knew used Everclear. They barely had any taste and then the next thing you knew it was like noon the next day.

I used to drink quite heavily. I used to walk around with a jug of OJ and a bottle of vodka and would just alternate swigs. Why bother with a glass?

I used to drink champagne mimosas in the morning while standing in the outfield playing softball. I was very different than anyone on the team (liberals) and they never knew what to think of me.

Sounds like things are going well with your redecorations! Mine is almost finished. I just need to caulk around the tub, then put a little jobber down that does the transition from the carpet to the vinyl and place one cabinet door that is giving us a little grief. Then I'll take some pictures!

Riiiight.

But there was a responsible Pam too. Sometimes when she was out in a disco or something (this was in the early '80s in Houston)...some guy would visit with her and buy her drinks and she always had Cuba Libras. He'd buy her a couple and then she'd go off and find the waitress and tell her "From now on, just bring me a cola with a lime in it." So this guy would be buying her $3 "Cuba Libras" all evening and the waitress would bring her the fifty cent coke, and pocket the difference. She'd have a wonderful evening dancing and the guy would be wondering why she wasn't getting drunk! Then she'd leave. Sometimes Pam wouldn't even bother with saying good-bye.

She was a terrible person and I haven't seen her in years...
