Riiiight.

But there was a responsible Pam too. Sometimes when she was out in a disco or something (this was in the early '80s in Houston)...some guy would visit with her and buy her drinks and she always had Cuba Libras. He'd buy her a couple and then she'd go off and find the waitress and tell her "From now on, just bring me a cola with a lime in it." So this guy would be buying her $3 "Cuba Libras" all evening and the waitress would bring her the fifty cent coke, and pocket the difference. She'd have a wonderful evening dancing and the guy would be wondering why she wasn't getting drunk! Then she'd leave. Sometimes Pam wouldn't even bother with saying good-bye.

She was a terrible person and I haven't seen her in years...
