That Enduring Freedom video was outstanding, and I'll repeat what I said on the other thread; shame on you! You made me cry seeing the homecomings, especially that young sailor holding his little baby for the first time!!
It is a very motivating video, g'nad, and makes us all proud of you and your fellow Marines, and all sailors, airmen and soldiers in the U. S. Military!!

I'm going on to bed. I'm exhausted. I'm helping organize a homeschool hayride and pumpkin patch party and I bought $100 worth of hotdog items today. We're going to have a huge bonfire and wienie roast and also marshmallows. We're having it at an apple orchard and we're having caramel apples too! Mmmm!
Then, each child gets taken to the pumpkin patch on the hay wagon, and then they get to pick their own pumpkin! We're expecting about 100 people.
I have been on the run since about 1pm this afternoon and I'm exhausted. (I had a budget of $121...so I did pretty good, huh?)

OK, though I think I'll go back to a worcestershire based marinade next time, if I do a marinade. I've got a great marinade recipe I use on steaks and chicken. It's called Sutherin's Basting Sauce. As soon as I scare up the recipe, I'll freep mail it to you.

an object-oriented wizardHmm, now that sounds interesting... Gandalf++?

I am exhausted too from all the social stimulation I had today, with the fundraiser, the old coworkers, my old boss that I just don't miss! Then pints and two bowls of French Onion Soup in one of my old haunts up there with a friend catching up is exhausting!
[yawn] sorry about the french onion soup breath!

Gandalf--, maybe; he's not very good.

I don't know, Corin, I'm very busy these days with painting and drawing, it's about all I can handle to work on those things enough.
To: Sam Cree
I can't do it either... I have other things that I should be busy with first. Whether I am actually getting around to them or not, I should at least leave myself the time!
Hullo! - Good evening!
To: JenB
Hullo Jen! - How did the test go?.... If you know.

All caught up? Only ~630 messages today, not the busiest day in the Hobbit Hole!
To: HairOfTheDog
Eh, ok I think. Won't know for a week.
I'm going to bed. Someone else can have the Precious tonight.

You have to have the "murdered" man's beautiful, political, yet clueless - guess she'd better be a liberal - girlfriend join up with the "murderer" to uncover the "truth". Right? I'm trying to figure that part out...
To: SuziQ
You obviously haven't been around a group of girls knocking back and having a good time!! That might depend on how you define "good time." ;-)
To: JenB
So we can all turn in.
To: HairOfTheDog
but isn't Viggo Danish? I dunno. I just saw his name on the list...

Yes... lots of posts today... of course, about half of those were cheap sneak posts!
But I got all caught up! - Seemed like a good day in the Hobbit Hole indeed. Much good cheer was had, and new friendly folk are feeling at home here, which is good!
