I'd get bored pretty quick without a personality to contend with. :)
Thanks all for sharing the "Figwit" thing. It makes me think that I'm not so crazy after all!
To: HairOfTheDog
Simple. Inquiring minds want to know. I briefly checked out the site to see who the heck was Figwit. The site isn't worth taking the time to read though.

Here's a fun Middle Earth site you might want to check out:
Middle-earth Name Generator. I came out as "Talkative Istari". My screenname came out "Irritating Sniffer". I think my parents had better luck picking names! LOL
To: Overtaxed
OK - I'll bite: these are for my real name:
According to the Red Book of Westmarch, In Middle-earth, I was a - Valiant Elf
Elven Name Possibilities (root name) Vinyavása
Hobbit lass name - Camellia Roper from Frogmorton
Dwarven Name - Bofur Skyslayer
Orkish Name - Ashkûr the Obtuse
Love my orkish name btw... Obtuse is one of my favorite words.
To: Overtaxed
I came out as Handsome Teleri. Hansome? Does that still apply to females? Using just my first and last name I became Groveling Longbeard. Didn't particularily appreciate that one either.
My elven name was Astaldorhosiel, or Gorothdringiel with only my first and last names. Now if only I can pronounce them. My hobbit name was Hilda Baker from Newbury, or Pearl Brandybuck from Girdley Island if I only used my first and last name. Hey if I go with the last hobbit name I am related to Merry!
Thanks for posting that. It was interesting.
To: Overtaxed
Cool! But I don't like the results much for any form of my name I use.... The Elven forms might have some promise: Quelledagniriel or Firthôlien.

At least your second elven name is easier to pronounce than either of mine. LOL
To: JenB
Ok, this is better - by including my middle initial I magically improved my results!
In Middle-earth, you were a Valiant Elf. Much better... and the other forms aren't bad. Iarvása, for the Elf form, Bell Roper from LongCleeve if I were a Hobbit, Bombur Stealthslayer - ahh! I'm Bombur!!?? the sleepy, overweight Bombur? No way! - and I'm just not including the Orc name.

My other names are:
Elvish: Imregiel
Hobbit: Primula Bunce from Haysend (I don't know about those flower names.)
Dwarf: Dain Lightningteeth
Orc: Bâzzag the Wicked (well they might have gotten that right. I can be very bad when I put my mind to it.)
Now. How do I rig this to be a Took?
To: HairOfTheDog
According to the Red Book of Westmarch, In Middle-earth, I am a Dancing Fallohide.

Ooh! Ooh! Ooh!
Using first initial, middle name, last name I come out Adamanta Took from Binbale Wood. Finally! A website that satisfies my inner Took!
To: Overtaxed
Hmm... and you're not just a Took, you're an exceptionally stubborn Took, if the first name is any indication. (Adamant being diamond, which is hard and not very good at changing its mind.)

I found out from the TORN message boards, where Figwit was the primary topic of conversation for a several-week stretch.
To: JenB
you're not just a Took, you're an exceptionally stubborn Took As in "hardheaded"? :) I still like it better than being a primrose.
To: 2JedisMom
