I think you need to give them your credit card number to activate your "free" time. After that they start billing automatically. Or at least that is how it worked when my mother was enslaved by them.

I can't complain about last Christmas, though...my brother gave me a beautiful copy of The Hobbit (hence the double copies!) complete with fold out maps and Tolkien's notes and other goodies. It's an older sort of collector's edition. Really nice!Hmmm. I'd be dropping BIG hints in HIS direction, then!

Yes, I know, some good comes out of Microsoft. Win 2K and XP are far better than their predecessors (it's incredible how much my job has changed since we ditched 9x). But I STILL say there is evil there that does not sleep...
