Cool photos. I've always been intrigued by the place, very remote and very wild.Thanks. Do you see that horseshoe-shaped feature on the side of the unnamed volcano beside the Kamchatka River? That must have been one heck of a flank eruption.

these pictures are great. I too have always wanted to visit this area. They are supposed to have pristine rivers full of large salmon as well as a subspecies of bear as large or larger than Kodiak grizzlies. I don't know how one would go about getting there though...
