Just when you thought things couldn't get any worse for Los Angeles, they elected a dues-paying Democratic Socialist (Communist) mayor.
Socialist candidate Nithya Raman ousted Karen Bass and won the Los Angeles mayoral race.
Los Angeles Councilwoman Nithya Raman increased her lead over Karen Bass earlier Wednesday.
Raman opened up a two-point lead over incumbent Bass after a Wednesday morning drop.
"Raman had 377,458 votes to Bass’ 360,864, the Associated Press reported, a margin of 16,594 votes. Bass had a narrow advantage in the early returns Tuesday evening, but that evaporated overnight," KTLA reported.
The Decision Desk called it for Raman on Wednesday evening.

She:
- Traveled to Cuba in 1973 with the Venceremos Brigade, a group expressing solidarity with the Cuban Revolution.
- Made at least 14 additional trips to Cuba before entering Congress.
- Explored Cuba as an alternative to capitalism and the American economic system.
- Praised Fidel Castro upon his death in 2016, using the honorific "Comandante en Jefe."

It was between a woman who deliberately burned a city to the ground, killed 13 people, left the country, came back with a smug look on her face and blamed her lesbo fire chief versus a woman who thinks its A OK to have hobos taking dumps outside of elementary schools while your kids play and wants to exterminate landlords..so yeah it was a lose/lose situation, the second Spencer got screwed that was it
